Today’s video sure shows what you guys have accomplished along with your friends and family. I’m so impressed at what you have accomplished in just a couple of years. It’s truly impressive. You’ve become so much a part of the community or built community around you. Your references to the skills of the older generation and their hardships is a testament to resilience and perseverance. To look at the junkyard and see resources is a skill in itself. I’ve appreciated from the beginning how you have slowly but surely converted the space from junkyard to resource management facility and a livable space. The transformation has been stunning. You should be proud.

OMG, I was so incredibly anxious watching your struggle to unload that monstrosity of a machine! At one point I was barely peeking through my eyelashes because I was ready for it to crash down, especially when the forklift kept lifting off it's wheels. 🙈 Honestly, this video should have a warning for people who suffer from anxiety! 😱 That said, you're definitely right to be amazed at the problem solving abilities of your elders. They are truly incredible, even though safety guidelines are more like mild suggestions to them. 😅 You've accomplished more in a few years than many others (including myself) have/will in a lifetime. Be proud of yourselves! In the future you'll be so grateful for all the hard work that you are putting in now while you're still young, strong and healthy. The progress is so awesome to see! 🤩 Thank you for sharing your journey with us, even though I can imagine that it's just more work for you that sometimes you have to find the energy to do. Keep in mind that with each completed project your end goal grows ever closer. Oh, and give thanks every day for such hardworking, dedicated people around you. Not everyone has that advantage. 😁👍

On a scale of 1-10, how would YOU rate the Czech safety measures?? 😂
@keithviolette5870 Жыл бұрын
Actually, that wasn't too bad, a 5 or a 6. I've seen crazier here in the US where we have "OSHA"... Yes, I have hung off the back of a forklift to help get the wheels back on the ground, and I have run around with blocks of wood, pipes as rollers and even proper "machine mover" wheels. That process is called "Rigging" here in the US, and it always makes me think of "Jerry Rigging". I recall one machine being loaded into a semi trailer, and we weight of the fork truck and the machine was causing the rivets in the truck to start popping. Had to very carefully lower the machine onto some wood to distribute the load and back the forklift out before it fell through the truck.

Ladi & Margaret, To many in the van life community it isn't just about the travel it is about a different way to live. Which is why those in the tiny house community often share more in common with van lifers. When you shared with us where you were living and what you were doing, it didn't look like you were "junk-yard people" it looked like you were applying the principals of alternative living in a new way. Such as thinking about how you use items and space differently, recycling and reusing as a way of life to give the old a new existence, incorporating your work life in a new way. You took a junk yard and turned it into something beautiful, reusing all that you could, creating a home, a business, and incorporating nature as you went. You and those who worked with you are amazing. You all should feel proud.

Oh man...I can't WAIT to see what comes from the new CNC machine. Surely there will be an explosion of stored-up ideas about to occur. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.

Most of the time when tragedy hits, it's been different parts of the world at a time. From the Civil wars to World Wars, from nuclear disaster to tsunami. But this Covid effected the whole world. These U tube channels helped people to survive, your survival from "junk yard," to industrial operations, is a success story. Congratulations, the heart or fire of an unteperner can never be extinguished. Czech people will tell you that they just took the long way around. This will be a story that you will tell for generations.

No, money may not be as plentiful as hydrogen, but stressing over it is not the Czech way - I've learned that from watching your videos. Now for a question, how does Ladi like his Milwaukee 12v tools? I've been eying that system for a while but am hesitant to pull the trigger.
