OMG! is right, wow you guys made hard work of that job, and soo long to do the job, the yard pro was not a pro as you found out, I did mine in 1 week, and we used roller with a great finish. Your job looks great and you will be happy as I am too.

I would be scared to get under that boat with those stands. Holy moly! That did not look like a stand I would want to get under. You guys did an EXCELLENT job on the CC! I have seen a lot of CC that looks terrible, this one is certainly not one of them! Looks great, good job!

thanks a lot 🙏 most important is a quality spray gun with the bigest nozzle available. It had to be taken apart and cleaned after every batch of coppercoat.

Since it has been 8 months since you did this job, i am wondering if you are still happy with the product?, did you get a lot of barnacles? Did you have to clean hard? How often?

Hi Sergio. Very good question. For the first 4 month we had nothing to do. We have been on anchor and moving from time to time. As soon as we stayed 2 month in a marina we found a little bit of slime forming and on the bow also a few barnacles. Then we cleaned before we changed into another marina. Here we have high nutrition water and again slime was forming. After 2 month we hired a diver. He told "it is the cleanest hull he ever cleaned..." Now, we are again 3 month further and again we find some slime. The water is already a little bit warmer (Mediterranean) and I will clean myself. I can wipe it down with my hands. We are very happy with coppercoat so far... ; )

I'm jealous! I've done 2 boats by roller. I agreed about spraying and the agent persuaded me not to. I've done a lot of paint spraying over the years and I'm sure this would have been much easier! Do you know what size spray nozzle you used? Well done guys!

flicking the wrist with that gun is a big no no. Creates hills and valleys in the applied coat

We are happy with result. No hills and valleys, nothing growing, easy to clean

I can tell you right now, that guy you hired has never operated a spray gun in his life. You do not spray that way if you want to spray appropriately

Надо помнить - что некоторые производители сеилдрайвов запрещают использовать коперкоат на корпусе...
