@@Mk2Mitch i may see you. I have a zetec s fiesta that does less than 90mls a year. Keep threatening to replace with a classic i may do more miles in! This is quality tho. You've done a lot of good graft on the cars. I never find myself going "don't do that" like i do with mr hayes.. love him too tho.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, that brings back memories of when I painted MK1 and MK2 Escort’s, sanding,spraying,sanding,spraying and more sanding and spraying lol , really niiiiiiice memories, although our spray guns were not top loaders but 1ltr bottom guns, great for everything except roof’s,they almost cracked yer arms. Awesome video Mitch. 😊 Ps……. The secret to a great paint finish is preparation, preparation and more preparation

It looks fantastic Mitch but don’t be surprised after some hard cornering if you get cracking around those strut top strengthener plates with shell flex. Whenever you fill/smooth anything like that you need to seam weld it first. Hopefully not but it’s likely :(

Very nice, when I built my 1600E with a 3.0 v6 45 years ago I gutted the engine bay and resprayed it and matched the valve covers and air filter housing as well, your going above and beyond that, love it. Will you add a strut brace?
