Here's a trade secret I have learn recently, if you are getting your progress stolen a lot then farm the DR without an emissary flag. Since most players completely avoid it you will basically almost always be left alone as long as your emissary does not sell you out to the reaper players. It is also convenient that its located in the far corner of the map with available ashen quest to keep you in the region. When I have ran into players there they are just doing the same thing and after a quick chat we ally up. You can easily get 100k's and good rep on quantity over quality. Just 5 Ashen Cap Chest can get you over what 1 Athena could get you and you get those pretty quickly (Also all the Merchant items there are good at getting your rep up for them). Yes you have to deal with volcanos and geysers but those are easy to deal with compared to sweaty players constantly hunting you down both with or without a crew to help you. Basically its a tradeoff, hardcore a-hole players or some spicy islands. Since the most dangerous thing on the seas are other players so I pick the Devil's Roar especially if I'm soloing.

I went to Devil's Roar once. Went like an action movie. Starting on an island without knowing what it really is. Spending time digging treasure while the geysers are steadily getting more frequent. I finally realize it when they are going as haywire a hell. As I'm swimming to my ship the GROUND AND AREA SHAKES! I barely made it out of there as the volcano erupted! Dodging hellfire brimstone all around me!

Devil's Roar is exactly how I grinded my Order of Souls to 50 for PL. Normal OoS voyages are ass, but ashen OoS voyages are actually fun and super profitable

Yeah world events are just better. Although I wonder how it would go if you stacked the north coast siren treasuries? In the time it takes to sail from one to the other, complete the second one, and sail back to the first, the first should have reset. Obviously that would do best with Reaper, Guild, or GH. It wouldn’t be as good as world events, but shouldn’t be as bad as voyages.
