For the love of god. Please start upscaling these videos to 2560x1440 for the forced better encoder. It will get rid of all of the blur and blockiness. Reply to me if you want me to tell you how if you don't know

I'm interested, how does it work?

In premiere it is literally as simple as: Going to sequence in the top left of your project (you must have something on the timeline) Click it and go to sequence settings. In there you have option like frame rate, frame size and so on, change your horizontal frame size (the one of the left) to 2560. Then change the one on the right to 1440. Click OK and return your project, all of your 1920x1080 footage will now how a black border around on your timeline. Right click the footage on your timeline and near the bottom it will say "Scale to frame size" This will upscale your footage to 2560x1440 and will force youtube to give you the better encoder. Ensure when you're exporting that is exporting as a 2560x1440 resoultion file by going to Video, Basic video settings and at the top it will say width and height. Ensure these are properly set to 2560x1440. If you don't want to do it this way then you can start recording in 2560x1440 and upscaling your footage as you record in OBS. You can do this going to: Settings, Video. there you will see Base (canvas) resolution. Leave that to your monitors default resolution, likely 1920x1080. But change Output (scaled) resolution to 2560x1440. Now it will record your footage in 1920x1080 and automatically upscale the .mp4/.mkv file for your when you're done recording, and premiere will notice that and properly scale your sequence to the correct resolution, thus giving you 2560x1440 footage on youtube and given the MUCH better encoder usually only given to much bigger channels. @@Heartbreah13

@@GREED_EU thanks alot, just one more question. Should i use the adaptive high bit rate option alongside this?
@GREED_EU Жыл бұрын
There is no hard and fast rule, generally it depends on your footage so try and with and without and use whatever gives you better quality. You should be relatively safe to use it no issue though@@Heartbreah13
