We missed you by a week! We are in Ocala visiting our daughter and her family. They were staying in Champions Run Luxury RV Resort! They just started full time RVing in February. We took a day and visited the Equestrian Center. We ate at the candy shop and sat at the same table! I think I heard “are you ret ta go” while sitting there..LOL! How fun it would have been to run into you guys there! It was a beautiful place and we only saw a small area compared to what you saw. Another great video! Thanks!

Our neighborhood FMCA Chapter held a rally last Thanksgiving at Grand Oak Resort in Lady Lake, FL, near The Villages, and have reserved 40 sites again for this Thanksgiving. Grand Oak is also an Equestrian Center, but this place puts Grand Oak to shame. Very impressive.

Our friend lives in the rolling hills of Ocala and the Equestrian center has brought so much attention to Ocala. The price of land has tripled in the last 3 yrs! Great place to visit. Thanks for giving us another view of the center!

Wow! Fantastic place to see. Wish I was there to. Love 🐎 Used to ride when I was younger not the jumpers although I did have a horse who did jump over fences to get into another pasture. We jumped ditches 😊 and streams. Loved that horse. Thanks for sharing. I got to go see a huge horse farm in Kentucky where they raised thoroughbreds for show. Very impressive to see. Back in the early 70's😊

We have been there several times but not when it's been as active as when you were there. We were as shocked as you were as to how big the place is and really scratched our heads as to how they can even cover their overhead at times. The campground has only been open about 2 years now. I must say you have done one of the best, and through, reviews I have seen about this place. GREAT JOB ! If you ever get back in the area again I can tell you about another, but much smaller, equestrian place you might enjoy. Thanks for posting. Venice Equestrian Center is also incredible but a MUCH smaller venue. There was significant damage from Ian but the community rallied to help and the improvements are great!

Last year we went to WC multiple times. Our favorite visit was to see annual AKC petitions for agility that were broadcast on TV. It was amazing to see all breeds of dogs getting along because they were all there for that competition. Thank you for a great video of a place that was dear to our hearts. I watch your videos with a critiquing ear and I because you do such a good job at transitions with your music and you're choosing really amazing music. I just wanted to complement you on how well your video editing is.

That is the Paso Finos natural gait. They are not trained to do that. They are bred to do that. The object is for a smooth ride. The best horse and friend I ever had was a Paso Fino. Beautiful horses! Just thought I would share.

I knew there was an equestrian center in FL, but had no idea it was that big. As a horse lover, I really enjoy the Gran Prix events. The Peruvian Paso horse that you were amazed with is popular for its smooth natural gaits and was/is used for long days of comfortable riding by plantation owners. The same is true for the Tennessee Walking Horse. Did I see a GPS in that golf cart???? If so, I think I've seen it all now.

Next time you're in the Ocala area try going to the silver springs you can either kayak Ortega glass bottom boat they have wild monkeys that you probably will see. Also it's just a beautiful area of a natural spring in Florida

We were at the World Equestrian center last week on Thursday, March 23rd. When were you there? We were in our Road Trek class B like yours. We passed the campground but did not go to check it out. We dry camped. We watched the jumping competition 4:30-6:00 in the outside arena. There must be seating for a thousand people. Fun to watch. And the two "TV screens where you can see the riders and horses names and scores must have been at least 100' tall. We were surprised that there was no admission to pay and it is a very clean place. A must see at least once if going though the town of Ocala, FL. The next day we went to the Silver Spring State Park. It was beautiful to see. All in all the March weather those two days was perfect. I own 5 Paso Fino horses, that is their natural gait, it is very smooth and easy to ride. They are a gaited breed.

WEC seemed nice. But, our power post was unreliable and they charged several campers $25 more per night than promised. And they never refunded the difference.

That’s really odd, especially for everything being so new. We didn’t have a single issue nor did our neighbors. Why did they charge an extra $25/night?

We were there for a big event. The left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing there. There was a special event block price. They opened the spots for booking before they were supposed to. Then they halted all reservations. Then they opened them up indicating the higher rate was being charged but the difference would be credited upon arrival. I called to confirm a couple of times (including 2 hours before our arrival). I was assured the adjustment would be made upon check in. We arrived. And bait & switch time! I even provided the name of the woman who has confirmed the check in adjustment just 2 hours earlier. The smug "manager" responded by saying "she shouldn't have told you that.". At that point, we didn't have much choice. MANY of us ended up in the same boat. Also, it's great that the place is huge but, if you aren't towing a car or golf cart, you're going to need to rent one from WEC. More $$$ there. The RV area is almost as far as they could put it from the event buildings, restaurants and shopping. (The general store & laundry is where RVs check in though).

Wow, sorry that happened. We’d be upset too. Sounds like they need a new some “staff improvements”. The RV park was built after the facilities and being in that field of work in the past, it could have more to do with approval from the city or other factors. Hard to say. Doesn’t sound like these issues are common though or they wouldn’t have the attendance that they do.

We had three parts to the cruise. If you watched the end of the third in St. Martin, we showed briefly the end of the cruise which was just days at Sea.
