I love those printed out paper templates. Wish every company included pieces like that for parts. Would make fitment so easy! Looks great Andrew

Do these have a plastic tailgate like the current corollas? Pretty neat

I remember watching a video of Toyota engineers saying a lot of the plastic trims are designed to be cut out like the front fenders

Only part of that id probably pass on is the hood, those stuck in vents just never look as good as a proper carbon hood with heat extractors. Rest of the kit is very nice though.

Does the bonnet vent let water in the engine bay during wet weather driving?

some water gets in while stationary but Verus Engineering have said no water gets anywhere critical that affects anything

Honestly not a bad question though, I get a bit of water through my CF bonnet vents on my R34. Doesn't do to much damage but thinking about making up a drain off plate underneath for winter daily driving!

Is the Supra still road legal with the cutting of the bonnet and associated structural supports? I know the NSW RTA can be a bit "special" about those things.

The cutting into the bonnet thing 😳😳😳😳😳 I wonder if there are fibreglass bonnets with vents? Love watching this channel. So good.
@nickceffy43142 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure these are an alloy bonnet, and with it being part of the guard as well as the bonnet it would weigh less than a comparative fibreglass bonnet

its easy to think of double sided foam core adhesive as sticky tape, its not. sticky tape holds a kilogram max. some of the adhesives you can get can hold 100kg down thrust, on a part thats only 100 grams. with some solvent they can be removed without much if any paint damage, and the lack of mounting hardware saves on weight as tiny as it may be
@bradcross22 жыл бұрын
@@Stue-e i didnt call it sticky tape and yes it may stick to the paint very well but can the paint it is stuck to hold 100 kilos without peeling off
