I mean, I think it would only be hard if you were a hoarder and held on to multiples of the same items... but if you just kept 1 of each of the things you're hunting, then more often than not, the stuff coming into the store will progressively become less and less likely of already being in your collection, and won't be difficult to part with at all.

I think id try to flip everything on ebay just get the selfish kick out of reselling the way I enjoy doing it. To be honest you'd probably still turn a profit selling every game in the store.

Still have my Tomytronic 3-D from when I was a kid, that thing is so awesome! The blue one is Planet Zeon, same as what I have. Graphically it was way ahead of other handheld games of the time IMO. As was mentioned in the video, the thrill of the hunt is the best part. I enjoy digging through boxes of games I've had in storage for years, it's almost like finding it all over again!

Well the old owners had an interesting way of storing their merchandise but it makes an entertaining video for sure. It was a smart business move to hold onto the more valuable stuff in case they ever need to sell something for a rainy day.

Get a ton of steel wire racks, the adjustable ones you see in nice kitchens. Get all that stuff out of boxes on onto storage shelves. Line the walls with them in every backroom office/storage area. Label every shelf and tote. Just having stuff sitting around on the floor in boxes unlabelled, lol, hell of a way to run a store.

So this is awesome. What a crazy amount of grails that room contained! With the finds I've just seen, I've had an idea for expanding the store while also making a space to film videos in the future. I know you talked about removing the walls to that room, but I have a different suggestion. Keep that room as your stock room, kit it out with organization and a desk area for boring store running stuff like book keeping. Set the rest of the upstairs space up with all the consoles you have games for and any that are special that you don't want to sell really like the Panasonic so that you and others can enjoy them, but also can test drive games. If it gets popular enough, you could start charging by the hour for people to come play games all the way through if they don't own the system
