Exactly! I love the family dynamics and wish this is something my family could do but we are now scattered between IL and MN. I remember growing up chatting with my dad about how we could all live close knit on a somewhat large property and raise a market garden and animals. We would all have our jobs. So it's amazing to see what I thought was only a dream be working so wonderfully for a nice family like yours!

should defoliate around the clusters and remove secondary shoots once the fruit is set and going into veraison. then defoliate again around now to deter fungus. if you defoliate before fruit set you have a chance at losing berries. i work in a vineyard in PA, we grow 8 varieties of wine grapes. its a looooot of work, lol.

Two things changed my carrot life, moving out of the ground and into raised beds and pelleted seeds! By building my raised beds I am able to control the soil content and make sure it stays nice and fluffy with no rocks, roots, etc. I mix large amounts of peat, coir, and perlite in my soil and keep it light. Pelleted seeds allow me to space correctly when planting and eliminate thinning. Total game changer! I'm able to grow, harvest, and sell, nice straight beautiful carrots!! Give it a try!

Hey Matthew, 15 years back I owned a big rig truck. Coming into the Arizona Port of Entry, from California, the rig ahead of me was stopped and his trailer opened for inspection. He had 40,000 lbs of cotton Tee-Shirts. The border ag agent had a suspicion about that rig and she wound up shutting him down for several days. When the trailer doors were unlocked and opened the rig was filled with an invasive traveling spider colony, from the California desert.

You probably knew this but just as a helpful tip because I work for a winery out in the field make sure you put up net over your grapes just before Harvest When they start growing in so that way the birds won’t get to them and also it doesn’t hurt to have a bird whaler And the more traps you can put out the better

I really enjoyed this video today because it wasn’t just getting things out for market and also putting everything out for the market and picking produce❣️❣️ today you had very Highwinds and a lot of rain and we got to see a different version of what happened on the farm when that happens. I lived on the farm and you have days when the weather really plays havoc with your plans not to mention, the farm!! Regardless of your plans, There is always something to do: •equipment that needs repairing •Barns/stalls that can be cleaned out or Inner fences & Gates and hinges that can be repaired that seem to always get put off in a perfect for rainy days; • I need inside the house it’s in the present time to clean the inside windows covered which I loved because I enjoyed getting to see all the things mother cat put away high up on the shelves and I love handling all the beautiful antique glassware passed down from generation after generation making a shiny and polished in my brain on the shelves before you put it all back away for another year ,(or 2); • bringing out the canned juices flavors, & as grandma was doing and making jams and jellies, as well as many varieties of Christmas brands and gifts before the holiday season was upon us and getting them in the freezer or on the shelves but already decorated with ribbons and handmade decorative papers so that you had another job out of the way before the massive Holiday was Upon you •th were always jobs

Continue page 2 call and I am one of the people that I’ve asked the question about why you don’t have apples and other fruits and I appreciate you taking a moment in this video to address this subject matter on your video! I now understand so much better and having lived in more than one state and regional growing area, I can definitely appreciate what you’re saying!!!!! It’s not a matter of just bringing in sand and dirt and mulch for a small garden area but when you’re in business it’s a whole different ball game. When you’re in it to make business/Lots of money you can’t really bring in enough soil or dirt/mulch/ or sand you’re after year to grow a Good orchard of apple varieties or cherries or plums etc.❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️In fact it took 20 years almost for my Great-grandfather to have a orchard he was really proud of she passed down to my grandfather, For a soil quality he was very happy with.!!❣️❣️♥️♥️ and when you started talking about the cure is being so deformed because of the rocks, I can totally relate to that because when I was 10 years old, I totally could relate to that as my parents purchased a new land and we had to do a lot of work clearing it and repairing the different types of gardens that my father wanted including a sandy hill for watermelon and sweet potatoes and his red Pontiacs (potatoes, for those who don’t know what that is). Also, several years of killing and plowing and spreading manure from the cattle and the pigs before the Gardens we’re rich enough for the many different types of different types of garden produce we were going to grill… But there was a lot of labor by the children…12, (& parents, too, As we repaired 100 years worth of land in very Poor quality to fabulous Gardens what do you think quality for real funny you’re almost there are you and beyond. But it takes a lot of work to not only prepare soil but also, but I do understand what your soil is limited to or capable of doing especially on a large scale. So thank you so much for talking to us about these issues to those of us who have been pushing it did Eli‘s for myself, I can say you have answered my questions!! Besides, I think you have your hands full and I do love your videos. You have become my top Farm video♥️💜♥️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
