I’ve noticed my husband needs an adjustment period when we vacation or travel together. It’s taken me a long time to recognize and honor that he needs a slow slide into vacation mode. All the prep I used to grumble about as I prepped our kids and myself for the trip, I now realize was a gift and put me in vacation mode. While he was fortunate to be off the hook for much of the details, he also missed out on the process that helps one transition to vacation mode. Some people need some time for a variety of reasons. I’ve also seen that with friends. That’s why travel is so awesome; it pushes our comfort zones a little. Your storytelling was a great example of long time partners working through that process.

Time was just too short. Anyways, enjoyed the video anyway; your videography and storytelling continue to be superb. As far as me, I enjoy car camping in the spring and fall when the temperatures are moderate. I learned to camp in Boy Scouts and hunting/fishing with family and friends. However, I would love to see you force Ted to do all activities particularly the ones he hates and then film his reaction- you could say it’s for the growth of the channel 😂 yeh I want you to have some peace. But watching him not enjoying himself while you are like “the mountains , the scenery oh look a beautiful cat” can’t help it - that’s entertainment. Seriously though some nice footage and great editing. Keep going. I didn’t read all the comments but does Ted drive?
