This reminds me of back in the mid 90's when a buddy and I cut the front end off of a Ford Ranger and welded an Olds 403 Rocket in it. We took the front half of the driveshaft from the donor car and welded it to the back half of the ranger driveshaft so we didn't have to change the rear end. He had that truck for over a year and it was just a blast at parties....... Thank you guys for bringing back memories, this is one of the best things I've seen in a long long time.

Nah, it's running lean so detonation will get it before anything else. When you add more air you have to add more fuel. Its actually easy to add more fuel on these old FI engines, just restrict the fuel return hose to the tank. We used to do it with vise grips! Increases fuel pressure which means more fuel is sprayed by the injectors. Gotta love redneck engineering!

If there´s still an AFR sensor and the EFI reacts to it, it may adjust the AFR accordingly, although it may be a bit laggy.
