We had so many laughs, amazing learning lessons and memorable experiences the past few months and we are so excited to come back next season. This last stretch was both awesome and intense for us to get all these videos done at the quality we wanted them to be, so I hope you enjoyed them! If anyone is reading this... Hey, thank you. We do really appreciate you.

What a magical thing you just made. I have never been the type who looks for friendship, and i'm always busy doing my own thing. Now i'm graduated from college and covid hits. I have never felt as lonely and as isolated as i currently am. I long for social interactions and i was just drifting away from it. Literally few minutes into the video and i already started to cry, because i was reminded of how human connections should be. Thank you for reminding me again that it is all possible. Seriously, thank you!
@soretuber847

Oh my god! I'm going through exactly same the same thing. I spent most of my teen years and adulthood just studying for college. I didn't go to movies with friends, rarely went on trips or even outside the city or any fun activities at all and as soon as i got out of college, the pandemic struck. Couldn't get a job because of the lockdown and now sitting here with a year worth of gap in my resume. I unknowingly alienated myself so much from everything and everyone in all these year that i've never felt more lonely in my life. I didn't leave my house for 3 months straight contemplating all the choices i've made that flaked me further from everyone while i didn't even know. This video makes me feel happy and sad at the same time. But as life is slowly getting back to normal, I've swearing on myself to enjoy myself while I'm here. Making spontaneous choices which I'll remember 50 years from now and smile. We will get through this. :)

Hey guys. I feel what both you and @Sore Tuber are saying exactly because I am in a very familiar situation. Isolated and cut off from most of the world and watching them go ahead and feeling left behind, while also kinda regretting not doing more when I could have. It's a very lonely situation to be in that can spiral quickly, and this video feels like a god send to me and it gives me so SO much hope. Hmu if you feel like talking, coz I know I do. Stay safe ✌🏽

You guys are literally not alone. I've been keeping myself locked for so long after I graduated college like last year. And after that, I literally have no idea what's next for me. It feels like I have nowhere else to go. Like watching these people having the best moment of their lives, I had nothing else to do but cry and remember how it used to be back when it was all totally normal. I am more of an anti-social person but ironically, I always feel emotional when I see people enjoying themselves and getting to know each other. The part where they were all talking to each other as pairs, it was really the best thing that I've watched. I guess that's what makes it beautiful, when you are sharing some of your "yes!" moments in life with a total stranger. The environment around you is going to be filled with nothing but genuine happiness.

YESS! Will never forget how special this experience was. Sometimes you have this channels and people that inspire you so much online and wonder if it would be the same irl... after this experience I can gladly confirm it's even more inspiring than what it looks like in a video to be in a YES experience and with the YES chikos. But the best part is the inspiration becomes so tangible cuz everyone can take this and apply it in their lives in their own way. Love you chikos 💜⚡️

@@mikilinkeli801 I'm with you on this one! Sometimes, we just think about ourselves being totally unworthy. We tend to be afraid of stepping up because at the same time, we literally don't know what's the first thing to do. Little things like this remind me why I love my fellow black people. From the mom who got to give her son an experience he will never forget. To the other sista hopping right in to keep the kid busy & playing with her son. To the black man randomly speaking a language so foreign I can’t even think of it right now. This is a great display of the many variations of blackness all equally EXCELLENT tho. (Note: SAVE YOUR “WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE ABOUT RACE” COMMENTS. I applaud everyone for taking this leap. I watched these videos in 2015. I was still in high school! I really related to Ammar and how he could naturally connect with people. Something that was weird about me was a strength in someone else. Honestly, this past year has been really awful for me. And I didn’t really think I had a right to say that because everyone I love is okay and my family didn’t go into financial ruin. I lost a part of my identity. Many people knew me as the person who would talk to anyone and have memorable interactions with people. It used to be a problem that I would be randomly standing in line and someone would come up and talk to me and remember a conversation from 3 months ago and I would have absolutely no idea who they were. I haven’t had any of those interactions for the past year because I was just inside the entire time doing college classes or at work behind a desk in the middle of the night. I haven’t really watch Yes Theory for a while because it felt like that part of myself was gone. I decided to watch this randomly on a Tuesday night, but thanks Yes Theory for reminding me of a part of myself I forgot.

I can’t wait til Australia opens up and we can travel again. My husband of 13 years is Ghanaian and we are currently building a new house in Ghana and hope to retire there.
