I really admire Katie with setting financial goals.. like when she bought her own phone and now her own car. @@triciarivera3671 Her family has money so she didn’t have to pay for her sports or phone, or braces, or surgeries so she was able to save enough money. And to save enough for that type of car is impressive for a 17 year old. But she was able to do any sport or activity she wanted to do. I’m not saying she doesn’t deserve a car or nice life. But I don’t have to be grateful for my childhood, my parent were not smart with their money we almost went homeless. I have quit sports throughout my child that I loved and I was only attending once a week because that’s what we could afford. I lived in a orphanage for four years, im 18 years old and already 18,000 dollars in debt because of college.

My daughter set expectations for my granddaughter to meet over a span of several years such as excel at school, a school sport, community service, etc. she started this at a young age to teach her responsibility, paying it forward, and working hard for something. At the age of 17 my granddaughter was given a slightly used car of her choice. She takes better care of the car than most adults. She worked hard all those years and she reaped the benefit of her hard work. Good thing she did because she is entering her second year of college towards a law degree specializing in crimes against children. Happy Birthday to Katie. Drive careful and buckle up!!!

There are a couple for sale in Scotland they are not cheap though £16,000 for a red 2008 model and £20,000 for a green 2009 model It would be a bit of hassle but you could fly over and get the ferry back home or pay a transport company to move it for you
