As someone who had to eat MREs regularly as a kid, I take great amusement out of watching people try to figure them out. My dad bought cases of MREs and told us, "There's your meals". He showed me once when I was a little girl how to use the heaters, and you had better pay attention when shown once, because you were on your own and unsupervised with them after that. Also, we did duke it out for the Chili Mac.

My father has been in army for over 19 years and he started when army literally brainwashed everyone, they use to insult people until they lose their emotions, this affect my father a lot to the point that when my grandfather/ his dad passed away he didn’t even cry and simply said "oh" a couple months after he realized like " my dad is really dead I’ll never be able to see him again" and today I respect army and I’m grateful for what they do for us but all that crap that my father has been threw is illegal now. my father has PTSD, extreme depression, his back is almost broken the things that are in between the bones in our back to not make the bones scratch is broken, he can’t hear very well anymore, all of that also played with my parents relationship, my dad is supposed to get out of army but he is not. We’ve been waiting for now 2 and a half year. (He worked for expensive, helicopters and planes I don’t remember if he went on a mission but I think yes, he saw one of his friends get killed in front of him ext…)
