Finding employees that are willing to be on call during winter are really hard to find. This is why lineman isn't for everyone. Gotta get it done no matter the weather and time. Brian playing around with background music finally. Great job 👍

I have 3 “employees”. I explained to them how long this can take. We salted alot so they never really got a real feel… on this day we woke up to out first snow fall and not 1 of them responded to my texts so I had to find a random immigrant until after about 17hrs one of the employees can take over the other truck. So yea emplyees are hard to find

It's a tough job but someone has to do it haha
@louisdizor253722 сағат бұрын
@@trevey16 I know how you feel. Down here in Fl with our contracts we really can work year round & we r going on year 2 with out a full time driver for the truck. I still have to go out everyday to uber the crew around. Either they have no D/L or 1 so bad the insurance company will not touch them.

But I’ll say one thing I’m very very proud of you. You’ve come a long look at you now with that 14 foot blade and the salt spreader in the back of that brand new truck enjoying all those beautiful features in that beautiful truck you earned every bit of it and more🙏🙏

I dont miss my snow plow days. Long, cold, wet etc.
@jamesnm21Күн бұрын
@musimowingmoreinc9031 yeah, it's a rough game. Equipment only makes money a few months and then sits around taking up space. The snow messes with your schedule if you're like me and work full time year round. The salt destroys everything sooner or later. To even make it worth the trouble you need to have enough accounts so it's long hours when it finally snows or you're not making any real money. Break downs, maintenance, exhaustion.... but some guy on KZbin says easy money. My a$$.

Brian my friend, tell him about the time when you first started plowing and you were wondering about the scraping sound of the metal cutting edge and wondering if that was normal. You were a nervous wreck back in the day my friend😂🎉👍💪😊💯🇺🇸

Knowing you you'll have one of the new Arctic razorback plows sooner or later. They do work pretty amazing.
@BriansLawnMaintenance2 күн бұрын
I'd love to try one. Maybe on a 450 dump instead of a 350 though.
@jamesnm212 күн бұрын
@BriansLawnMaintenance you can upgrade the front coil springs on a 350 or something like that. Stan dirt monkey's guy has one and it only squats the front 1.5 inches after upgrade, so not that bad really. 450 would be better though probably.

Curious question, Do you mow the accounts that have the medians? and how do you mow them? when obviously a mower can't do it? Thanks Brian

Love this man! I’m in southeast Michigan myself and you truly kill it!!! Question though! Why plow towards a sidewalk?? Do you just plow with an atv or just hand shovel?
@nickschneider7364Күн бұрын
They let you plow towards the builds like that??? Yikes...lol. keep that up and the neighbor plow guy might take your site...lol😂 we had snow in mn last Saturday. 3 guys called in sick and had to wake another 3 up that didn't hear their alarms... hard to get good help😂

This is the designated spot to park the snow :) It's actually on a 6' grass boulevard against the building, so thankfully we got it right!
