The crew at Mechanical Adventures is at it again. In this episode we take a Land Cruiser to Buck Island with a full (clean) stock body including running boards, meet some rad people, old friends, and enjoy the beautiful scenery and smell of gear oil!
A few days before the trip, Mel installed a 2-3" lift and some 35s on an other wise stock FJ80 Land Cruiser. We approve of this sort of behavior and can't wait to have him back out again!

Nice.. our fj cruiser group hit the rubicon few weeks ago, a 200 series landcruiser came along for the trail, mostly stock, with just 35's. It did pretty good. He left his rear bumper lol

Thanks for the bolts for my buddies xj with the torn off steering box! Between those and borrowing the rubicon springs camp host's welder we got him through the rest of the trail and back to Oakland.

@@shawnomeara6153 Nope....while it did great, it was painful to watch him tear that thing up. Lockers, a little more lift and 37" tires, would go a long way towards keeping body panels in one piece.
