For me, taking newbies off road is very fun. I don't try to scare them out of going again, but if they enjoy it, then they might join the off road family. Great job giving them a taste. I use Derale fans on my YJ and Firebird. They work great, and are quiet. The Firebird's fan has been on it since 2000, and the Jeep's since 2005.

Kevin, once you guys determine that you want the tires filled, remove the water and get agricultural Beet Juice installed. The water will start corroding the aluminum wheels in short order. There are other tire products besides Beet Juice. Just contact any tire shop that works on tractor tires. (not lawn tractors, but real 100hp plus tractors)

I've explained this insurance thing to many people and tried explaining it to some that just do not want to listen. lol. So many people think their "full coverage" or their uninsured coverage will cover their vehicle. And I explain to them that it will only cover the blue book value of their vehicle in its stock form. Most people don't know that their full coverage won't even cover the cost of these brand-new trucks people are buying that the dealerships lifted and put aftermarket rims and tires on. I know a guy that bought one of those new trucks that came lifted by the dealership and two weeks later it was totaled at no fault to him, and after his insurance company paid what they pay he was stuck owing over $9600 out of pocket.

A broker is basically just a middleman: An insurance broker is an intermediary who sells, solicits, or negotiates insurance on behalf of a client for compensation.

Correct! In this case, their compensation comes from the insurance company, and not us. We also have the added benefit of using them to manage any claim we have to make sure we get what we deserve out of our policy.

Yea but it still depends on what state you live in. I called these guys after your first video with them and found you cant get a stated value or really custom policy unless your state allows it. They basically just found a normal provider that had some extra coverage for me which still doesnt come close to what my rig costs…

EVERYONE WITH A MODDED JEEP NEEDS TO PAY ATTENTION TO THIS: An insurance company will only insure $5000 in after market parts, if that. I just found out the hard way. Made a claim on mechanical damage on a $100K jeep and they tried to total it on me, claiming the jeep was valued at $26K based ON THE VIN. Excellent content guys. My TCase in my jk found 4hi while being towed behind the motorhome. The Tcase exploded and both front and rear driveshafts snapped, and blew a hole in the cross pipe. Insurance, (USAA) wanted to total it without even looking at it. I fought with them for 2 months. Idiots! Finally they sent a "damage expert" out to my shop to look at it, and he convinced the company it was just a few mechanical parts. Can you imagine they wanted to total a $100K, for less than $10K worth of damage? I couldnt. When I first insured the jeep 3 years ago I told them I wanted it insured for 70K (35K for the jeep and and 35K on the hemi swap and rock crawler suspension) and they said, sure, no problem, we do that. GUESS WHAT. THEY Lied. They didn't insure it for 70K, and there is no way to find out what insured value of the vehicle is on anthing they send you, not even the original policy. It was only insured for stock vin amount, because that's all they're allowed to do irrespective of what some fast talking salesman on the phone says. Big wake up call. Now I need to go find insurance for all my modified stuff, sand rails, jeep, Z32, etc, and get it all insured for the correct value. This event has been a real wake up call for me. If I hadn't called insurance to make a claim (I never claim anything but body damage) I would have never found out how screwed I am. I'm going to be calling PHOENIX as soon as my jeep is back on the road. F****! USAA. They lie, just like all other regular insurers. Like you guys I have a lot of expensive toys, and Im so underinsured it's laughable! Buyer beware.

Generally if you aren’t paying for for the extra parts added you probably aren’t covered. You possibly could be but that’s not how insurance usually works.

@Lite Brite They are aware of the added parts and usage in detail. They specifically know I utilize it on trails as well as daily. It was several phone calls with broker to work out the details. Heck they even reimbursed when I needed a tow in middle of no where. Was harder trying to find a tow company that would come out to a trail. That's the scary part.

Hey believe me insurance is a mine field, I play run and race 5th/6th and 7th scale on and off road trucks and buggies all highly modified and upgraded, big 50cc gas engines, over amped electric motors 8S from 4/6S bigger motors and thousands of GBP£ on mod's and upgrade parts, so any loss from theft or property or person injury has to be covered now some insurance is available through the national/international organiser, but most you have to try and get covered but a lesser known sport/hobby than the 1-1 race and hobby fun.

Hmmm i dont understand how the water helps in an almost verticle situation. Sure the weight is still at the front axle, BUT now that water isnt over the contact patch it would be on the backside of the tire. I would think when that weight transfers in a vetticle climb youd lose that added grip?

Not necessarily, because you’re still maintaining the lowest possible center of gravity, which helps to weigh the front end down & keep it from lifting, which in turns gives you the best chance for front traction possible.

So honestly I switched to the phoenix insurance group 3 years ago. They raised my rates every month. When I confronted them they said I had numerous speeding tickets abd traffic violations. After I sent them a copy of my driving record that had an official state seal on it showing 0 tickets and violations, they refused to adjust my rates. I drive professionally and I refuse to use them. They will screw over their customers.

Phoenix won’t raise your rates, as they themselves are not an insurance company & don’t control your rate (they just do their best to find you best coverage with the lowest cost). If your rates were raised, it’s because of the insurance company itself was raising it (who would also be the ones to pull your record). It might also be worth noting that there are a couple of “Phoenix insurance” company names in the country.

They investigates and found that they had added things to my record on their end. No apologies nothing. I even spoke to the company they represented and the rates were vastly different. We may genuinely be talking about two different ‘Phoenix’ companies (cause there are a few). These guys in our video can’t raise your rates themselves, and you do not pay them any money - your insurance payments go directly to the insurance company itself, not to Phoenix. And the insurance company itself also provides you with a physical copy of your policy (with a breakdown of your premium and coverage, so there’s no way to hide unwanted/added coverage)

I saw on the news lot of homes burn down years went by some of those home owners insurance not pay them off so they can build a new house some area like every year flash floods mud slide wonder how they get insurance in the first place and full coverage don't cover everything if your car or truck burn down they don't cover it make sure you get extra insurance for fire you need 4 policy on that you drive full coverage insured driver corpihinsiv And the Gap insurance what they full coverage don't pay the gap pay it off ask the dealership to add the Gap coverage what you buying
