Or towing a car would be the same rules as towing a trailer

Yes I have a C1 licence as I passed my test before 1st Jan 1997.

If you passed your car driving test on or after 1 January 1997 you can tow a trailer over 750kg MAM as long as the combined MAM of the trailer and towing vehicle is no more than 3,500kg. (which makes a bit difficult to tow almost anything with a motorhome!)

gareth lane I have a plan to do one on electrics and I'll mention solar panels. Probably do it later this month or early January.

gareth lane one thing I'd suggest, if you can, is to video the dealer's handover. There's a lot to take in and that might help you.
