Heard the Ryan Lowe story haha 😄 Knew about the Pele story but didnt know about the South America tour. Sounds bizarre plymouth going to South America in the 1920s. Love Dads knowledge. Great rebuild lads, would have liked to see a longer rebuild as a one off though. Success was inevitable. Heard Coops could easily be a top end Championship keeper. Im from cornwall and support argyle too. Really enjoy you and your dads channel. Wish my dad could use a computer or was into football/games lol. Last one he played was maybe crash team racing on ps1 back in the day. Enjoyed hearing the uruguay story reminded me of when we beat drew to madrid in pre season with people like guti and baptista starting. That theo guy you signed is zidanes son if you didnt realise! I have signed him on my save currently at sevilla, im in 2025 hopefully he gets good! Put him on loan somewhere a bit pants so not sure if he will. I had carboni as well and mcatee lol and i am 3rd (predictably) in spain atm. I really hope argyle can get back to the prem. they will sell out home park everyweek if they do they would quickly need a new stadium! Not sure they’d go for it first year tho unless it was a sponsered one or something. We could do with an airport then it would def attract more players you’d think.

I actually took on Valentin Carboni on for the Malaga save that I continued from where you've left off and retrained him as an advanced forward because his finishing and off the ball movement was really great. It paid off as well as he runs almost at an average of a goal per game... something like 74 games played and 71 goals so far.

@@omegadad not as good as I would've liked... no trophees yet... but I did reach the quarter finals of the CL once. I've been having trouble with cup runs in FM23 more so than in FM22 anyway... and if I do reach a final I can't seem to win them... have brought Pachuca CF to a NACL final and lost that... brought Ipswich to a FA Cup final and lost that to Liverpool... from earlier in the year I got Spurs to the CL final but lost it on penalties as I mentioned on that video at the time... (though league wins seem to be easier... made Pachuca Mexican champs a couple of times and did the same for Spurs)...

To win the league and get to the C/L final with spurs , your a legend in my eyes , but any time you win the league , with any team , that's great as that's over a season , cup game's , you have one bad game that's it finished , so I think your doing great 👍⚽

Not sure if it’s available on FM as I don’t have the game but think rebuilding APOEL in Cyprus would be good. They are record holders of thei Cypriot top division with 23 titles but they haven’t won one since 2018-19. They also made champions league quarters in 2011-12 and used to be a fairly regular feature in the CL group stages

I have a soft spot for Plymouth as a Dundee United fan because of the link with Paul Sturrock, being one of our best ever players and then going on to become your most successful manager, his managerial stint with us wasn't as successful as it was with you but I understand he was the first manager to take you to the championship? Think any team will struggle at home park this season , but the first 20 min of the second half , you where all over us , then we killed the game off with 2 quick goals 👍⚽

Lowe cut and ran season before promotion when we were top of the league. He never fully moved down to Plymouth either. He exercised a clause in his contract to force the move to PNE. Never been forgiven especially when we ended up missing out on the Play-offs on the last day of the season when it was in our hands. There was a lot of sentiment that if Lowe & Schummi saw out the season we would have been up the season before we actually did win League 1
