Pretty much what the other answer said. AI that is being designed to interact with humans are gonna be built with the physical features that humans find familiar. There is also the fact that this world is primarily designed to be interfaced with a human body. fingers, arms and legs, these things would let a robot interact more fully with the world than say, tank tracks and a pincer type appendage. Just my thoughts.

Incorrect assessment. He asked a question, the chatbot didn't have an appropriate response, so defaulted to a generic "indeed". Much like how humans respond when we pretend we are listening to someone.
