Yes, you are on point. Instead of teaching religious values, the Indian education system should rather teach the fundamental values of the Indian Constitution and Civic education. That is the reason why India will never have socio-economic equality for every citizen, unlike the Civic sense and welfare system of any industrialised country. Paradoxically, Indians love migrating to Europe, America, Australia or other industrialised Asian countries in the name of that socio-economic welfare security but criticise when someone like Mr Kulanghara tries to make a constructive criticism by comparing India

Hello! I’m an aspiring environmental scientist. The solution is very simple: leave it alone. Don’t dump trash on the ground because when it rains that trash will fall into the water bodies, don’t wash your clothes in the water, try to avoid plastic use as much as possible and recycle, don’t stop completely but reduce seafood consumption because overfishing is a problem, fishing nets should be retrieved rather than just left there, and for gods sake: Do NOT dump dead bodies into the water. It’s a better idea to take some water in a pot and pour it over the body. Hope that helps and you start encouraging others to do their part! 😊
