In this week video, we got Vijay to be the host for our car maintenance related series. And to start it off, we compared the fake and original engine oil and the oil filter.

No engine ever got damaged by fake oil. The engine gets damaged from long interval oil changes. Friendly advice to anyone reading the comment - buy the cheapest engine oil and cheapest decent oil filter. Replace it every 3000km. Thank me later.

You want to say I need to change my oil every 2 months and with cheap oil? Always use good quality oils (Castrol, Motul, Mobil1, Liqui Moly, Shell, etc.) and change once every year (or up to 15.000km) and you will face no issues. My 2.0 TDI runs smoooth after almost 400.000km.

@@lukastipinovic You forgot to say that you have removed or bypassed the EGR and removed the DPF. If it ever had those. Also, you are running a diesel engine which has "natural" characteristic of lubricating the engine and also not diluting the engine oil like the petrol fuel does. BTW how's the turbo doing? Don't tell me you haven't intervened on it with such long oil replacement intervals (no matter the oil, it gets dirty and will ruin the turbo 100% sure of it).

@@Druze_Tito Nope, we have strict rules in EU, I cannot remove eco stuff. And no I have 0 issues with my Audi engine. Only thing I change are break discs, pads and tyres. Other then that oil change and cambelts.

you can try to use fully synthetic engine oil..0W-20 or 0W-30
