Your review tipped the scales for me: I've chosen this bike to do my daily commute here in Belgium.

Good choice,

Prices start from £3400 so you can specify what you want to get to your budget. This isn’t a bike from the Far East. It’s built in Germany to your exact specification.

I could use that carbon belt for all the mud on Chesterfield canal paths ,always goos the rear cassette/derailleur 😮real nasty, 7 gears ⚙️ is plenty ,looks real comfortable 👌

Would have liked to see you test it up hills, see how it does. Agree belt drive & hub gears are best for commuter ebikes, shame about the price lol.

Hi thanks for watching. the bike would perform well on hills, the motor is strong and although 55nm that would be ample

@@TheYorkshireBikeMechanic it would be nice to see that demonstrated though, do you not agree? Also carrying loads, timed, compared to other motors, etc. A canal tow path is not a good demonstration route for an ebike, as it is flat.

But how can you ride a bike with the seat set so low?

You could get a full suspension Ttek rail 5 for less, commute on it in the week and shred on the weekend. This seems a bit pricey imo. It’s a decent looking little commuter bike though and I suppose you would save a heck of a lot not having to change the cassette and chain every 500 miles so horses for courses I suppose.

Yeah, I was looking at the cube compact, which is similar but £1k less than this, with a more powerful motor, & even that was too expensive. Ended up paying £2k for a full size bike with a 65nm Bosch motor (which is the minimum power I need for the hills round me) & spending £150 on upgrading the chain, gears & pedals. I use it every day to commute to work or go shopping, it will have paid for itself by this September (2 years) plus it's faster than a car or bus in the city at rush hour so saves time too. You have to look really carefully at the economics of ebikes, plus the specific use case, before buying one as daily transport imo. For me it works out, for others it may not.
