The wall is my favorite practice partner! It rarely complains and is always ready to play. I spend on average 2 hours a day on the wall . I practice every thing - serves, backhand, forehand, slices, overheads, volleys, running volleys, running forehands and backhands, approach shots, drop shots. I’m the only one in my club that uses this valuable training tool! Sad ! It’s no wonder their technique sucks! I developed my own techniques because of my training mentality. My Forehand is devastating! My serve powerful ! My Backhand precise ! You need to be an athlete to work the wall ! Most people don’t have the patience for athleticism!

Yeah finding a suitable wall within the city is extremely hard, even so once you find a so precious wall, nowadays with security cameras everywhere, they no use the wall area but u cant play too! 😢 People are so strict now, things go by black n white management rules, no more friendliness and knowing each other in old neighbourhood, those human warmth are gone! Bye bye!🥶

Great video, Gaby! (It just popped up on my home screen!) I really like the first exercise. When I play more advanced players the ball comes back faster and I’m finding that I prep late and then I hit the ball late and it creates errors. Hopefully this drill will help!

The slice is a shot where the racket is parallel to the net at contact-point. The ending position is not reached, neither with the slice nor with the forehand and backhand. Playing against the wall is only recommended if you have excellent technique, because, the wall hits every ball back. The danger here is that you out-play yourself due to the high speed. You can see that in your game.
@tijgertjekonijnwordopgegeten2 ай бұрын
I've noticed that if you find it hard to keep the ball in play you can feed one easy ball, then hit it the way you want to (depending on what you're practicing), catch the ball and repeat.
@BenedettoDiGregorio2 ай бұрын
@@tijgertjekonijnwordopgegeten agree. That's the way I practice now. The conventional way is not realistic as you don't have time to reset and shoot properly all the way through

The one with the serve is pointless. After the serve you're merely hitting like you always do. The only useful aspect of this is the serve itself.
