Bow is my favorite weapon and it absolutely sucks it has no special magic.

For me, Morning star is by far the best one for boss kill. The burn is based on max hp and result in a 44 dot on drakula. For mob farming it's debatable, all of them are usefull. I like the greatsword but you've to admit that the scyth is very strong in a spell build. Overall I find that they did a great job at making every weapon interesting.

not really spells are still really good they just don't get the benefit weapons do. and most of the weapons require synergy WITH a school. considering you only have 2 skills max a dash and ult spell casting only was likely never intended to be a build

I messed around with Wings of the Fallen for quite a bit. I think this video misrepresented its strengths. Its not for dealing with large groups of enemies, but rather enduring for long fights with bosses that don't usually spawn a ton of ads. During a solo fight I had with Dracula, it's movement speed increase, native leech on Q for healing, and Vampiric Curse on E while evading agro were all extremely useful in the fight. Summoning skeletons or doing electric shocks were practically pointless in fights such as that which were a good portion of the other options. I can't attest to it's PvP potential though.

Yeah, I think there is a reason there are 2 legendary slashers. One is geared towards Single Target, with leech, life leech, and curse. The other is geared towards wave clearing with static chain lightning, an extra dash, and static shield to pump out more static.

The scythe is insane in a pure caster scholar build, the stats + free comdemn. It lacks mobility so you may end up adapting a few gear pieces if you fight a very strong boss like Adam, everything gets melted and it's probably the easiest PVE I've seen, especially on brutal

I just got my Endbringers and the synergy is awesome. I thought the end game was going to suck after i got my first one, but now i can collect all the legendary weapons and build t4 jewels with whatever abilities they synergise with and take time rolling my jewels until i get what i want whilst learning each weapon. I don't know if that's how it's meant to be played but that's what seems most fun to me.

Great video! Though I do think you are missing some of the nuance that makes these weapons great. Take The Gravecaller (Legendary Sword) as an example: This weapon is exceptional for both large groups of weaker enemies and bosses. The Q (Whirlwind) gives you a massive increase in movement speed which allows you to avoid most attacks while doing damage. You can literally just do laps around bosses while they slowly (keyboard turn) trying to hit you. It also applies Condemn which is not just useful for spawning skeletons. Condemn causes targets to suffer 15% increased damage from ALL sources while it lasts which is one of, if not, the strongest debuffs in the game for bosses. So having Condemn on a weapon skill opens up the rest of your build for not having to run an unholy skill to apply it. Not to mention if a boss spawns adds it can turn Whirlwind into one of the highest Single Target damaging weapon skills in the game by making it last so long. The E (Shockwave) just flat out does 20% more damage per hit and reduces the CD of Q (Whirlwind) allowing for more mobility and Condemn application. E on sword is also an i-frame which allows for more damage while being un-targetable yourself.

We would agree with that regarding ads on bosses if it wasn't for the fact you get this weapon so late in the game, that those that summon a large enough amount of ads and stay close enough for you to spin onto them right after, just don't exist. For all the end-game bosses, yes the condemn effect is good to not have to run a spell to apply it, we agree, but if condemn were on any other weapon, it'd be the same situation, so we don't see that as a massive selling point over other legendary weapons.

One tiny nuance I've noticed with the sword is that the movement speed seems to only apply to the base Whirlwind attack. Even if the duration is extended from enemy kills, the movement speed increase fades after the first 1.1 seconds. Also, unfortunately no boss (apart from Cyril) spawns adds right on top of themselves which is where the Whirlwind buff excels - large groups of mobs clustered together. So against many bosses, it's barely more than a regular enchanted sword with a Condemn debuff and increased Shockwave damage. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's been my experience with the Gravecaller.

Interesting on the legendary spear’s harpoon technique going from a Scorpion “GET OVER HERE” to a Halo “OH LAWD HE COMIN’” attack. Will take some getting used to be effective with it, since I usually use spears to grab enemies like the nuns that spam AOE healing zones and yank them out of their safe space,

The greatsword is so backwards. It should apply ignite on Cleaver and do more damage with Death from Above. It would synergize much better. Close the distance and apply debuff with Q, then follow up with E.

I have.... Frost mace: Absolutely cracked weapon with a frost build Whip: Really satisfying to use, that fire + stun is just... *chefs kiss* Bow: Multi shot into stun shot is great. Really good. Less crazy than some of the other weapons but it makes using a longbow much better.

Although I guess I kinda spoiled myself because I did not realize their skills were different, gotten the sword, axe and crossbow ones but yet to make them as I prefer longbow and the pistols.

One of the most OP ways to fight a V Blood in PVE is to rage the skeleton Ult. That combined with the legendary weapon ist huge.

I feel like legendries should get a lower tier versions. It would be kinda neat if each tier of weapons had their own 'legendary' version. Give people a bit more to chew on and look forward too. I honestly was unaware of the existence of legendries till watching this. My luck has just been that bad with the rifts, despite having just beat Dracula a little bit ago. Only reason I even looked up the video is I remembered that axe ability, what I now know is The Red Twins, from the trailer and having reached the end of the game was curious to what the hell was going on. If something similar had been showcased earlier on, maybe I would have hit those rifts a lot more...

Can you load in the legendries, when creating your own, solo world? I seen you could load in weapons, but I never checked (didn't know they even existed, at the time) If we can, I may load some in, and save them for later. Then I have access to them right away. I do have my world tweaked for solo play though, so you think farming them solo is possible? These events look like they might be "world events" that are meant for the whole server to tackle.

So are these legendaries suppose to be a direct upgrade to the purple ancestor or are they more of a side/diagonalrade? Like, I like sword/pistol combo, but I dont always want to use them with ignore/condemn. Same as I dont want to really use slicers if I'm going to use static, so what's the deal on these?

Sometimes, a purple weapon is better for you purely because they can roll all their stats and spell affinity. Legendaries, however, have fixed stats and spell affinity BUT are the only weapons with unique modifications to their actual skills.

Been going back and helping other friends on the server and trying out some other playstyles. The scythe is fun. Lot stronger than I thought it would be.

Gravecaller tooltip is bugged. It reduces cooldown NOT JUST on whirlwind, but on all Q skills It is underrated in pvp, you ignore its Q ability, but its E ability is insane

Don't do blues, upgrade whatever sanguine wep fits you the most than start farming greater rifts and go to the northren vamp shop in mortia once u got 1500 great shards and keep buying purple assembly weps untill RNG gifts you a legendary weapon of choice

Those are the only legendaries. You can get a chaos reaper of the same level, but it will just be like the other purple weapons. Chaos infused q and randomly rolled stats.

With the changes to static imo swords with static are great people should combine schools instead of hard focusing on one Condem+weaken+static is strong and if I am not mistaken static procs more based on the amount of attacks and whirlwind attacks a lot the swords second ability literally makes you invulnerable during its duration and can knock up enemies canceling their attacks I cheesed so many bosses doing this. The frost dash shield with the right gems gives great sustain with spell power builds cyclone is disgustingly strong with scholar blood type death knight is powerful to and with the correct Gems is can spawn you an entire army on its own and witch scholar blood having a high chance of resetting CDs you can spam both cyclone and death knight while having several cyclone orbs and several death knights that can heal you from the dmg it deals and death knight gems increase its damage and it scales of spell power it is extremely potent and can spawn mages on death it’s busted.

Yeah, unfortunately illusion doesn't seem as melee-friendly compared as the other elements. Like yeah, you can slot in illusion spells/necklace/weapons for a melee-focused build, but you're more restricted in doing so than on other magic schools.

I have all the legendaries now... Except pistols. Ugh. I have used about 30k shards in the past 2 days buying purple pistols. I have 20+ purple pistols. The first lvl 30 I purchased on day 2 was legendary (wind slashers)

Axes are SSS tier. Every thing else is just merely A tier or below except a couple exceptions. Maybe wind slashers are S tier, but barely. Frost hammer is D tier, but I don't play frost much. Whip is C tier maybe D tier. It is clunky and slow, with slow damage. No synergy with school of magic hurts. Bow is A tier and would be S if it had attribute. Crossbow is a caster bow I guess, so awkward to shoot slow bolts with weak school of magic. C tier. Reaper is S tier for caster. Front load skeletons. Spam spells. Consume skeletons for buff/heals. Kill bosses in record time. Casters are so broken. Spear is B tier. Good stats. Good chase ability. Greatsword is C tier. Not really special is it?

you're not forced to use the legendries, and some of the purples are better than any legendary if you get good rolls and set your build up right.

i thought so to after farming the greater ones like 10 times i got 2 legendarys but then i used all the shards to buy from the vendors and got 5 legendarys so even if you dont get lucky with drops it seems the vendor has a higher chance of giving them
