I keep coming back to this one. I'll go on with my life and let this song/video fade away in the recesses of information that I no longer readily need, but for some reason I keep coming back to this video in particular. And I think now I know why. The dancer in this video is astounding. Something has happened to her that has caused her a lot of pain, and she is sharing this with us. She is sharing the emotions of a past experience. Pause at any point and look at her facial expression, it's always distressed. It's a very "fighty" video. That is, UNTIL the very end. There's a smirk at the very very end of the video that is so indicative of her emotions. It's gone. She's looking at whatever was causing her so much distress as an object powerless on the ground. She's defeated it. This is her way of exorcising that pain, this dance, and that is so beautiful. That is just so damn beautiful.
