Oh my gosh the way I cried. Katie I can so empathize with you. It’s such a hard thing. God has the best timing for you. It is probably just from breastfeeding. My daughter stopped with breast milk at 13 months and I got pregnant at 16 months. But it takes time and everyone is different. You’re still freshly weaned so that’s exactly what it is. Let your body adjust, give yourself time and grace and focus on your beautiful family. Baby #2 will come when the Lord is ready!

Stay encourage Katie. I understand the feeling I had a false pregnancy test. Told my sister and my best friend got super excited. Told my husband we took two test together and turns out I wasn’t pregnant and even though it was negative I was so excited those couple of hours so I understand how you feel. I really resonate with this. My husband and I were trying for a while and I had a false positive test. It completely shattered my heart to see that for the first time only to confirm it wasn’t true. We are finally pregnant with our first baby and I can’t tell you what an answered prayer and dream come true it is. Awww Skye is like, "mommy it's okay still just me and that is great if u ask me." (in her innocent mine) I say check again if it doesn't come. My friend took 2 and they were both negative and 2 weeks later it was positive.

As someone with ADHD, Im SO GLAD you posted this. Let me explain you why. People with ADHD tend to do these type of things ”mistakes” (grabbing the wrong test in this case) VERY often. It hits hard because these small things are part of our day to day and they take a hold on us pretty hard. Basically we think “why am I not able to execute this simple thing without something going wrong?” I literally showed this video to my husband and he told me “this is something that would happen to you 100%” and he is right! This is the thing, we ADHDers think that we are the only ones that are “stupid” enough for this sort of thing to happen to us. Thank you for sharing! If Im ever on a similar situation I can say “well Katie also did it”😅

I usually don't comment but I wanted to let you know that you shouldn't feel stupid at all! I can't have kids, my tubes are tied, but I'd love to have another. When my period is late I always hope I'm one of the rare ones that end up actually pregnant, but yeah it's never that case. It's heartbreaking. I know exactly how you feel. I love watching your family (even recently bought some J80 items, love the booty bands!). One reason is because you guys are honest and it's nice to see we're not alone feeling these feelings! i’m so sorry Katie. me and my husband tried for almost 2 years before we got pregnant with our baby and he’s now 3 months old! the ovulation tests are tricky and i had so many false positives (certain brands are worse than others i’ve learned) and it sucks so bad, but if i would’ve gotten pregnant a second sooner i’d have a completely different baby and i know i was meant to be HIS mother. your next baby will be here in perfect timing ❤️

The day I remember that Skye was developing in Katie made me happy. I was so excited for them because I have been there since they started dating. This situation is very similar to Savannah Labrant where she thought she was pregnant and she wasn't. I remember it took months for this to happen.
