I cried so much. My dog gets love and affection. I'm the only one in my family who actually looks after her and takes notice of her. Sometimes we come home and we've been out for the whole day everybody apart from me ignores her. I know what my dog feels like. She feels rejected. As if no one wants her apart from me. I feel bad now. I always thought stray dogs just were fine and then they find a home but no. Dogs should be more important than anything. People shouldn't ignore them anymore. So many people complaining about the control pole... But the fact is, this dogs condition was unknown. Dogs can bite out of fear. They can be aggressive and attack. Especially stray dogs that have most likely been abused or neglected that was pregnant and scared.... You can't always gain the trust of a stray immediately. And you don't know the condition of the dog, it could very well have rabies and such. The control pole is used by many professional rescuers, including animal control operatives, to ensure a safe way to catch the dog and calm it down (as the control pole is designed to caused as little harm as possible, it can't choke the dog and the worst that happens is their necks get rubbed a little raw). Not only does the dog suffer a small amount of damage but the person catching the dog is at less risk of getting bit or attacked because they can control the dog, just like a leash. Once they calm down, they can move in and check for major injuries on the spot before taking them down to a vet. The control pole is used because it's humane and safe even if it doesn't look like it. But that's why they're experts and we aren't, right?

(I know of course she's just a scared abandoned dog and that's obviously not a bit funny, but things appear to have turned out okay in the end.) Was she believed to be injured or sick? She was so terrified when you snared her that she not only began peeing and drooling on herself but she also lost control of her bowels! Poor baby. She wasn't ready, and her "freak out" from the severe stress and fear lasted far too long. Unless her life is in immediate danger, do you really need to rush and force her to the extent you just deepen her emotional scars? While of course she's ultimately safer being off the streets, and you did a wonderful thing by saving her, couldn't you have just gone slower with the snare or caught her a different way? Rather than cornering her in that tiny space where she could barely turned around, with big scary humans blocking her, then suddenly throwing a tight wire around her neck (to her it feels incredibly tight) and doing it in a space where she was at serious risk of hurting herself. You got lucky that she walked out from where she was sandwiched between 2 concrete walls BEFORE she started spinning, jumping and whipping around, but she still came extremely close to slamming her head into the house and the back of the car multiple times. And why do you have so many people standing so close watching everything when she's clearly petrified of people, plus a woman who just stood there, inches from Skye, in an aggressive stance with her hands on her hips throughout Skye's entire fear-filled fight for her life! (to the dog, she's fighting for her life - and in this case the life of her pups too - she doesn't know or understand that you're trying to help her) Thank you for rescuing her but this rescue was stressful for me _and_ the dog.

She was with her cousin and no one wanted her, she was 1 years old and they were bringing her to get put down... i yelled out and i took the little brat home 😂 shes my whole life and she thinks shes a human (she sits on chairs and dances) Its truly painful to see homeless dogs because humans are so cruel!!! so for future viewers who scroll through comments, read this.. homeless dogs are normal. they aren't trained and had likely either been tossed out by an inpatient family, born on the streets ir left to die after being put in a dog fight. many asian countries notably Korea and Thailand, celebrate the killing of strays. how? boiling then alive. they then move on to eat them after they are cooked. the fur is shaved off before hand. dogs are mans bestfriend. with out canines many lives would be lost. Dalmations are used as Fire Dogs as they can sniff through the smoke and locate a person in a house ravaged by flames. the dog then howls or barks, giving a sign someone is left inside so the life can be saved. what if its a baby? well, it will take it upon itself to remove it as dogs have a motherly instinct which, regrettably, some human woman lose, and carry it out to safety. This dog isnt trash. This dog is anything but trash. you see how scared it was? she was likely thinking "Crap! these people are going to hurt me! I have to protect my babies.. I have to hide somewhere.. anywhere!" it was likely trying to protect those little puppies when it ran and was hiding. strays are taken kindly too on most places. kids have been known to throw rocks at them, humans have been known to hit them and kick them. humans have been known to earn their trust only to backstab them by tossing them into a rink as bait. while it's getting attacked its wondering "why me..? where is my owner..? where is that person who loves me..?" now, I own 5 dogs. yep, five. there are related, ONE was abused by its ex-owner's husband, and the final one is a puppy. I understand why people can hate strays. they are bothersime if they get in your trash or yard, ir when they accidentally have fleas and ticks which pass into your pet. but, if you earn it's trust you can be the one to help it. wouldn't that make you the better person in the world? theres a dog in my neighborhood, he has no name so we call him "Cujo" as hes a mastiff like the famous horror movie hound. but, he is as sweet as a puppy. he always visits me as I leave him food willingly. I once brought him in and he made friends with my one dog, Nala. what happened to him? my mom has a friend who owns a farm. he needed a companion for his own dog and soon Cujo was adopted. I get to see him whenever we go up for produce. there are countless dos out there wandering the streets, hungry, tired, and thinking nobody wants them in the world unless they're dead. whats anither sad thing? go to a shelter and just watch as families come and go. watch the dogs they leave with.. most families overlook pitbulls, dobermans, and such as they are 'dangerous' which is NOT true, its all in the way you raise them after all. They'll also overlook ones with black fur as it isn't "pretty" looking. They'll also skip over ones missing fur or body parts. so ehat happens to these dogs which could become your best family pet? they are euthanized. put diwn simply because no one wants them because of how they look. So, I guess, don't judge a book by its cover.

They have to act quick as the dog could easily run away... Some dogs aren't patient with you and the only goal they have it to escape and they have had bad pasts with people, sometimes u have to act quickly.

Wolfiee Elia I understand this, but sometimes they're not tempted by food and if not caught quickly, such as you could see in this video the dog was eager to escape, meaning that it could have gotten run over or escaped. Sometimes you have to go through a little suffering before the best thing in your life happens. this is actually heartbreaking, those pupps might get mistreated or worse, condemned to a life of suffering amongst pure cruelty in the hands of irresponsible sadists and egomaniac zoophiliacs, or victims of an insane chinese restaurant owner. I hope for the best of that the number of tortured species soon be diminished, and their torturers get a penalty and ffs some treatment or a lockdown. Because I´m getting tired of such bullcrap, so many images of violence towards the weak, we need to fight back, how can we show kindness to these criminals? can kindness kill their sick behaviours?

+Gammit Garm This is a respected rescue who will not place any animal with an adopter that is not thoroughly vetted and approved. They are very good about this and know the dangers of being irresponsible in adopting out those animals under their protection. A rescue like Rescue from the Hart not only carefully approves its adopters but follows up with those they adopt out to make sure its working out for both adopter and adoptee
