My daughter will be the solo violinist for three kings this weekend for two shows. She will perform it with her high school’s honors orchestra Friday and Saturday. She is a freshman and the concertmaster. Fortunately her initial instructor of six years was a student under Galamian at Juilliard. Her current instructor is concertmaster of a near by city orchestra and a graduate of Juilliard. This had given her a good foundation to work with.
