Love this!! Also yes! As a French graduate we did a listening exercise in my final year about the chocolatine! There’s a big debate in France as many places call it one and many places call it another! I think it’s almost a 60/40 split! But yeah Toulouse is one of the places that calls it chocolatine! That Airbnb looked terrifying I’m kinda shocked there wasn’t a cover for the literal hole in the floor for at night?? What if you fell out of bed??? That’s wild OMG! Toulouse looks lovely I’m glad you enjoyed your time! Also SO excited for the travel series with Harry!

Its so crazy how cheap flighttickets are... I know its great from a personal view, but from a environmental point of view its actually crazy... Like how are train tickets hella expensive whilst being great for the environment and these flight tickets are dirt cheap😢

It’s honestly shocking & completely completely agree it shouldn’t be this way round! We did actually look at taking the Eurostar but it was honestly about £300 more which is insanity - I wish it wasn’t this way around🙏

une chocolatine and un pain au chocolat are the exact same thing! just it’s very common in the southern / south western regions in france to use the term chocolatine instead! ive just returned from a study abroad in bordeaux and it was the same there :)

I used Carbon Neutral Britain to calculate my carbon footprint after I started flying a lot and then signed up to pay a monthly subscription based on that outcome depending on how many flights I take - I really recommend checking it out as it’s a great website carbonneutralbritain.org/

You act like you’re so cultured because you “travelled the world” but you really are just lacking the French language and culture in this video… not a great ambassador for the language learning app. As someone who went to Toulouse for an internship to perfect my French I’m just cringing at this video and feel so embarrassed for you…

Hi - glad you had a great experience in Toulouse, not 100% sure why you feel the need to comment if you have nothing nice to say. This partnership in particular is specifically centred around complete beginner language learning and the flexibility of this app being for anyone and everyone regardless of why you’re learning the language. I don’t try to ‘act’ cultured at all, I stated several times I know nothing at all about Toulouse as a city, that was why we visited. This is purely just us having a fun weekend away as friends that love to explore new places. If you don’t have anything nice to say you don’t have to watch. Have a lovely weekend :)
