I was thinking the same thing. Me and my dad would go race the go karts in Myrtle Beach at NASCAR park and another place on hwy17 almost in NMB and they closed down the year I turned old enough to ride the bullet karts that would fly. I haven't been to a kart track since. That was at least 15 years ago

This reminds me at a old go -cart track formerly located at OCEAN CITY MARYLAND way back in 1985 Where a bunch of the motocross racers who were in town racing at A big east coast pro-am motocross two day racing event called WHEELS IN THE SAND that Friday evening before ALOT OF RIDERS went down to the local go-cart track where the Go-Karts had Honda 200cc engines in them and they would cook too ,a bunch of us started seriously bumping, banging and pushing each other so hard that finally the extremely pissed off general manager comes running out and starts screaming 🖕🤬🖕 GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE while swinging a wooden chair at a few of the ROWDYS there LOL The sign at that track initially said ALLMOTOCROSS RACERS WELCOME the next day that sign WAS COMPLETELY GONE 🤣
