That manatee was just the sweetest thing. Reminded me about the importance of simple pleasures.

Wow! I feel spoiled spending all this time with you. I love how you turned lemons into lemonade by enjoying the weather no matter what. That spot looked amazing. 🚐

That was was so cute Maggie barking at the manatees. I love that flea market where those shells were. I love shells from the lakes or oceans. I collected them a little. My sister made me a jewelery box with shells on it but the jewelry box ended up breaking over the years. I didn’t that restaurant you were at with the dollar bills on the ceiling.

Love Key West! We took the public bus from Sugarloaf Key KOA to Key West a few years back. 45 min there, 1.5 hrs back! Met some really interesting people on the way back! 😊

I have always encouraged my traveling friends to take advantage of the local bus line to see the area at the lowest cost, especially in the Bahamas, instead of paying and taking a costly tour, you can ride their bus and see the entire island.

I think that is great advice. We had a good experience.

We ate there a few years ago. We were able to eat outside but we had beautiful weather the day we were there. Really good!!!

That was fun even though there was lots of wind and rain, the sun did come out for you in Key West. Riding the bus is a great way to get there because parking is definitely at a premium down there. Hope you're all doing well - safe travels & hugs for sweet Maggie.

I would hunker down too with it raining like it was. Glad the Starlink worked with the storm. You all look cozy together one the Ekko. Maggie with her treat. She’s so cute no wonder you call her mag pie. My dig goes under many alias’s too. His name is Teddy so we Teddy bear, Teddy Spaghetti and Poo-do. Mostly it’s Poo-do. He answers to them. Even Teddy Roosevelt. But we don’t use that one anymore.

Good to see your video. Always great to see your adventures and what is possible to experience while traveling. FYI - The audio on this video was harder to understand your voices on this one.

Wind made audio almost impossible for this one. 50mph winds just about the whole time.

How long is the bus ride?
@VANTREKKINGlifestyle6 ай бұрын
It was about 45 minutes to get there. It will depend on how many stops there are. It did take long to get back.

Owen, I saw the front door lock device on your Ekco and it looks very much like what I need to replace on my old class A door. Are you able to determine the mfg or part number for that lock?? Thanks!
@VANTREKKINGlifestyle6 ай бұрын
Not sure what you saw? We wanted to replace our standard Winnebago lock for a remote lock but it will not fit easily. Am I missing something?

So what was Maggie doing while you were gone the whole day and evening? Our pup couldn’t last that long. Would the bus allow a pup to ride too?
@VANTREKKINGlifestyle6 ай бұрын
Sadly the bus does not allow dogs. We don’t usually leave Maggie that long, but she doesn’t seem to mind to hunker down in the van with the AC on. Thanks for watching.
