The Ponds cleanser is actually SO GOOD, but they weren’t doing it right. You have to take your dry hands and rub the cream all over your face with your hands, and then use a warm wet washcloth to wipe off all the excess. All my friends and I use it and nothing works better. I was at first hesitant to start using it because a makeup wipe is easier, but this makes my skin SO smooth right after and takes off absolutely everything!

I'm rather confounded by their feelings of "it's too much" when people on this very channel endorse the Korean skin care routine and that's many more steps and infinitely more expensive. And it's all the same reason! Women do this to be attractive, end of story, period paragraph. I do this stuff, it feels good and it's about self care on one level but it also speaks to the desire to be perceived as youthful and attractive. People don't change, been this way since day one.

The trick with ponds cold cream, apply it to your skin with your fingers, then wipe it off with a warm damp cloth. Don’t dip the cloth into the pot, and don’t use tissue. Calling this 1950s beauty tips is a little bit of a stretch. I’m 27 and have always used cold cream, a neutrogena bar (I know that isn’t listed) and a face washer on my skin. I’m certain I’m not the only one as cold cream is nearly always sold out at my local pharmacy. It’s funny the people in the video are kind of mocking these products because it’s old fashioned and “a lot of work”, yet in the next sentence talk about how they can’t believe people in the earlier decades used so few products. Shows how much social media affects society these days, these same people probably get their skincare tips off KZbin “beauty guru’s” that get money for endorsing products they probably don’t even use.

My grandma gave me that teabag tip when I was a teenager. No idea if it actually does anything but it feels amazing!

I do the steam thing every evening for like 8 months now and it's really good for your skin and when you have pimples you can put herbs and salt in the water and after moisturizer on your face I promise it will help

Those hoop earrings are super cool but doesn’t it hurt to have such heavy earrings?
@ellegilyard13486 жыл бұрын
Kayla Hollar My mother wears really large hoop earrings. Most of them are made of light material. If she wears a heavier pair, she tells me she just gets used to them.
@astoldbykaycee51226 жыл бұрын
Nope they aren't heavy at all! They are made from a light metal you just have to be careful to not get them caught on anything though they can easily be ripped out!

The only problem I have with hoop earrings is that they get caught randomly. Such as headphones, purse strap, a loose shirt...I just have bad luck period lol

Nope. I wear door knockers. They’re very light.
