I'm from Texas. My dad was born in the Bay area but he was raised in Dallas( I don't know the whole story) . My mom was in between Texas , NYC and LA. I have a big family in LA but every time I'm in LA. I have to get the pastrami burger and loaded fries. I would say just hit all the major cities. Every city has it's own unique food. I know in my travels city like New Orleans, Houston, Philly, New York ( I ate at a Caribbean spot in Crown Heights) it was the bomb.
