Marshawn Lynch's family was the first family on Bar Rescue that ACTUALLY cared, and wanted to help improve and weren't just mooching off their relative. They loved each other, didn't fight, loved their customers, and were just fun and happy. Were they failing? Yes; because they were inexperienced needed direction. Once they got it, they stepped up. It was touching to see.

Jon Taffer really reminds me of my old teacher in middle and high-school. A great life mentor, a coach and even a father figure. I really miss him. He even took the time to teach us to file taxes, basic money management and the basics of economics. He taught us basic skills, writing a resume and how to talk and interact in an interview.

I remember I worked at this brand new bar as a cook. I walked in on my first shift, saw every other kitchen member touch raw chicken and steak and proceed to serve cooked food. No gloves or hand washing. I had talked to the other kitchen members about it and how they could make people sick. I saw it keep happening, told my boss that there needs to be food safety procedures because people could get seriously ill. Finished my shift and was fired as I clocked out. I get I’m the new guy, but food safety is imperative to keep a business in business. Don’t visit Brass Tap in Huntsville, AL. Side note- I was not coming across as a douche, I told them that it’s unsafe and suggested that they should practice food safety.

What I saw is this man MarShawn putting his dear friends name on an establishment, went into business with his family which is almost always a horrible idea but their sole failing was a lack of knowledge and training. They threw themselves into that rescue, they crushed it and they set the Gold Star standard for how people should work with Taffer.

Jon is such a boss. I respect him so much. He gains the respect from people like Mr. Lynch and those Tampa Bay players not only from his reputation, but more importantly by the way he holds and expresses himself. I lived in Renton, next door to Marshawn, when he played for the Hawks. You'd never know he lived there. Super-sweet guy. Came to Thanksgiving at my house the 1st year. Gave me tons of BeastMode gear. He was ALWAYS be the best to me. ❤
