To be fair, frozen meals are not designed to be restaurant-level quality, or even homemade quality. Frozen meals are made for people who don't have the time to cook and hopefully, it's just a once-in-a-while emergency meal.

For slow roasted beef - most microwave stuff I’ve tried with a sauce, you cook for a minute or two, stir, then finish cooking. That way it is all in the sauce. Probably would help a lot.

@@Lifeofward151 Can't really refute this as there seems to be no evidence for it either way in the articles that came out about it at the time. Happy to have a look if you have a source other than the original reports from a few journalists. Obviously sous vide and boil in the bag are different things so if it was true that would be deceptive. It wouldn't really counter the fact that catering company food was being brought in and sold at that size a mark up. Or that they were using frozen produce when Ramsey goes off at so many other places for doing that but it would be worth noting.

The irony of a man who's spent 20 years moaning about Restaurants using frozen ingredients to him now releasing his own frozen dinner line after so many years putting emphasis on fresh ingredients.

Gordon doesn't have a problem with frozen or premade food, he's known for his love of McDonald's. His problem is when private restaurants sell premade frozen food at a premium price and passing it off to customers as homemade.

As a fellow Brit to that gobby shite Gordon I'm shocked that he's gone down this route, although there was a massive controversy back in the late 90's early 2000's where one of his Michelin star restaurants in London was buying in ready prepared meals from another supplier and passing them off as cooked fresh in-house, since then he's not really been popular over here (that's why he spends so much time abroad....thank god). Also thank you so much for knowing the difference between a Cottage Pie and a Shepherds Pie.....so many people just haven't got a clue and as a chef myself it boils my piss when people are clueless. Best wishes from here in the UK, BTW we don't want him back.

Hey dude, your vids r sick. I wanted to ask if you could try to make “Hakka” food it’s also referred to as “Indo-Chinese” . Some popular foods are hakka noodles , manchurian, chili paneer. That would make a cool video and definitely capture a huge Indian audience 😂
