lolige lol Lololol who told you that? Lips have almost no melanin, which is a protein that gives color to your skin. Melanin is also responsible for tanning, and your lips have a very minuscule amount of it, hence why they almost *never* tan. Idk where you learned that, but it is certainly not true. Lips do not change color when exposed to sunlight 😂 and their color has nothing to do with the sun.

probably stained. When I wear dark matte liquid lipsticks for a long time and then take them off, my lips are usually a bright pink for a while until that wears off.

elphabalw you definitely could. super dark shades are already hard to make completely opaque and not at all streaky, adding glitter in probably just made it harder. but two coats would do the trick

It became patchy because it hadn't fully dried. I own one of these and when you really let them dry they stay pigmented but when there is a wet spot, that spot transfers to the other lip when you flip it. Thus making it patchy. Also thus far I am liking this product, but haven't used it a ton. Not really a need for glitter lips while at work.

I got the shade Forbidden and it doesn't show up as sparkly as the darkest one but I still got lots of compliments 😁 it goes on so easily and so smooth, and I ate a greasy dinner and it still was poppin, and also it doesn't dry out your lips as much. Hope this helps!

The glitter in the lighter shades isn't that noticable, unlike Jazzmyne's. It kinda looks like you put matte lipstick on and then you put gloss on top when it was the other girls' lipsticks. But it could be the lighting or the camera. Who agrees?

Welllll, I mean, I'm normally with you on this -- and Buzzfeed sometimes can turn a video around really fast. But they often pre-film by a lot and it either takes awhile to go through all the steps to being approved, or they already have their allotment for that channel queued up, so sometimes these have to wait a week (or sometimes longer). Their trends can often fall behind solely bc of that. Otherrrrr times they're just hopping on a dead bandwagon. That's common too. It's just hard to know which is which.

it makes total sense, i dont get how its so weird, its just creative! when you apply the lipstick the glitter won't be pressed down as flat as possible so its only shimmering BUT when you press your lips together the glitter flattens out and takes up more space so its more able to reflect

I bought this product a week ago and have been loving it. You can feel them on your lips as they can be a tad thick, but I think if you use a liner underneath it it great. I need to test it out more, but I may be buying more colors, or making my own at home.
