As an Assamese I'm offended for rating Poita Bhaat/Panta Bhaat as the Worst Dish. I understand the fact that you have tried it for the first time, so you might not have liked it. But dude! You are making a video for a larger audience, at least do some research on what you are eating and how you are supposed to eat it. No one will enjoy eating mere wet rice with mustard oil just like that. You have to mix it with the other side dishes and have it. @oktested I am commenting today after a long, long years just to tell you guys that don't judge a book by its cover. You put new people in front who doesn't know anything from food perspective except Satyam. Why did Needhi like Mishthi Doi because she is a Bengali? Why did Alisha like Dhokla because she is Gujrati? So, you should have asigned someone from North-East like Tenzing or Sonali who should have told you what culinary food of North-east is. Or, put some chef next time who should rate your foods rather than amateurs who don't know anything. Firth of all, Panta Bhat is from West Bengal and Assam's food is Poita Bhat as they sprinkle Mustard Oil with slice of Onion and Ginger in their food. Rest, its a summer food which not only in India but anywhere in world, we celebrate this. North-east food is known for its simplicity, true flavors from the garden to kitchen with no added ingredients. Please, it's a humble request to put some good anchors to make your videos more likable than hatred.

If you soak the rice overnight and eat it as panta bhaat in the morning, you get a high from the rice throughout the day. The high is not very strong and its kinda similar to what rice beer makes you feel like. A dreamy hazy state but also very energetic.

Avial can't be the worst-rated food. You guys haven't tried the authentic ones. My mum makes it regularly and it's one of the flavourful dishes in Kerala as there is fresh coconut, tampering of coconut oil, and fresh curry leaves. I feel it's the same with Panta Bhat. Next time you guys can maybe try the freshly homemade recipes of it.

Adding one more point to the never ending controversy of rasagola is, jagannath temple was there before before partition of odisha and West Bengal bengolis were already knew the taste of rasagola and values of jagannath temple. That is why they use to visit puri more often and marketed rasogolla so well. We never mentioned baked rasogola, sondesh etc etc is ours but you guys have to understand this rasogolla has created by an odia to offer our god. That's it. Panta Bhat is an emotion for east indian people. I'm half oriya and half bengali, and its a delicacy we have every summer. Hearing "Laat" for panta bhat really offended at least my sentiments. Its a childhood memory I treasure a lot. If you don't like a food, at least don't disrespect
