Think sweet, caramelised onions seasoned with McCormick Black Peppercorn Grinder and McCormick Garlic Powder for an extra depth of flavour.
We added our favourite pasta shape, Fusillini from San Remo, into this luxurious French Onion Soup to soak up every bit of flavour! Then, eat as-is or pop them into oven-safe ramekins and top with cheese for the ultimate comfort appetiser for the festive season.

Ingredients:
1 tbsp Olive oil
80g Butter
1.5 kg Onions (sliced)
½ tsp (24 twists) McCormick Sea Salt Grinder
½ tsp (24 twists) McCormick Black Pepper Grinder
1 tsp McCormick Garlic Powder
1 tsp McCormick Onion Powder
100ml Dry vermouth/white wine (Optional)
1.5 litres Beef/chicken stock
½ pack San Remo Pasta - Fusillini
200g Mozzarella cheese
