Jackfruit is delicious good vitamin and protein. The ripe fruit Make delicious pancakes or smoothie. Green stage can be cooked like meat. Seeds can be cooked or roasted which I prefer..Plant grow really fast in less than five years if grafted..Please Plant trees along the river help with soil Erosion. And they do well in wet areas. I’m from Jamaica jackfruit is one of my favorite fruit to eat . I use to boil the seeds and eat the yellow section which is so sweet and delicious . I even bought it here in the U.S. I don’t know how they’re grown because the trees was already grown when I was a child in Jamaica. But I heard you soak the fresh seeds before planting . Good luck planting your seeds . Can’t wait to see the results. ❤

Omg Ro, For that sticky part, you just get leaves or papers and remove that sticky stuff using the papers after cutting the inside stem off. Jackfruit is sweet when it's not so so ripe. If u used papers to clean off that sticky stuff you wouldn't be wearing gloves or using oil. Jackfruit is one of my best fruits and I eat it atleast once a week😂 I hv never cooked it or anything but it has a sweet smell so I understand if people eat the seeds

As kids in Uganda, we used eat roasted jackfruit seeds and cashew nuts seeds. It tastes good like roasted cassava with salt😋. But when roasting them u have to be careful because they can easily bust and burn u.

That jack fruit is past its prime 😅 Neither the flesh or the fibrous part is edible anymore. Get a tender jack fruit if you want to cook it like meat. It should be small and completely white inside.
