Gyebale ko! We apologize for the extra-long delay between videos-balancing everyday life with the kids, nurturing our spiritual well-being and growth, editing the videos, plus all the behind-the-scenes work, while still making sure we get in our early morning coffee dates, takes a lot of effort and time with just 2 people! It seemed like we were fighting against something (or somebody) who just didn't want this video to come out. It was a struggle! But look at God...... this video is finally live after 2 months! Thank you Jesus! We’re also incredibly thankful for our many viewers and hope you’re enjoying our travel series!

I just want to commend your openness! As a Mozambican, I was surprised by your willingness to take your children to the dentist in Uganda because the west has a very poor understanding and view of Africa. We have good health services here, we have good education, we have all the things the west does but something is always lost in translation. Thank you for experiencing Uganda to the fullest. You have thought me how to approach newness and truly immerse myself and learn from other cultures. This video is so beautiful , us Africans cannot thank you enough. That red License Plate on that tourist van saved you big time. Any vehicle with a red plate in Uganda means either the Driver or the Vehicle is a big contributor to the Country's economy. For your case it's tourism which is Uganda's biggest earner. Sometimes it's the NGOs that have them. That vehicle does not even pay tax just because of what it does for the country. And the fact that you were driving it yourself as a woman is out of this world.

How did Joe steal the show? From narrating to dancing? Making friends, trying new foods. Lol. I didn’t know he was ‘fun’😅😅😅💜

This is probably one of my most fave videos from you all. I watched every bit of it with a smile on my face. Thank you for showing Africa in this light. And thank you both even more for how you approach new cultures, the ppl, and how you raise your children to be open and embracing. I did not hear one complaint about food, climate, smell, accommodations, ppl... whatever and that says a lot about who you all are as people. I love that your children are getting exposed to so much... if will def shape who they are for the better. Now this is how you use a platform. I love this! Also...I saw Joe and baby in Sprouts in Glen Burnie a few months ago. And I just respected your space but I wanted to come up and say I love watching yall so much! So here it is..I love watching yall!!!! 😅😅😅

Yeah. The fish in gnut sauce is the best. That's how its supposed to taste. So when you cook it, you use what we call endagala . Which is the leaf that comes from a matooke (banana)plant. Typically, you'll get the young leaf, hold it over your wood fire or charcoal stove. The aim is to get it as smoky as your can and pliable without burning it. Then the fish and ground nut raw sauce id put in the folded up and tied in a banana leaf(olulagala). We also typically cook it by steaming it in a saucepan layered with banana fibre and leaves. It intensifies that smoky, and banana leafy smell. But thats the best part. Ooh it goes perfectly with matooke and nakati. 😊 m so glad you guys experienced our food and our organized chaos

Thanks Mazelee's, you were in my area. I go to Gaba beach for my Tilapia fix. Thanks for truly seeing the BEAUTIFUL nation - Uganda. Most people miss it. Very wise, if you can get health care there it's BETTER than US care. It's quality care .

Mainstream media portray Africa as being poor and a savage place, but now we have people travelling there and documenting what it's really like. I appreciate this type of content, showing Africa in all it's beauty. Uganda my home, hope you and your family had fun!
