@Billy McCatty Powell “NHANES 2016 statistics showed that about 39.6% of American adults were obese.” so that’s well over a third of Americans. I’d call that common. And even if it wasn’t why does that matter? The point is about representing people of all shapes and sizes.

@Billy McCatty Powell the human body also isn’t meant to be underweight but I’m sure you’re not commenting on videos with skinny girls about them being too skinny 💁🏻‍♀️ which would also be inappropriate. You can’t tell how healthy or unhealthy someone is simply based on their weight and it’s no ones business but you and your doctor. It’s 2021, I’m honestly surprised that you don’t get this by now, but then again you’re probably 13.

The limits that Olympic athletes push themselves to has long term strain and negative affects on their bodies and they also force themselves to exercise with injuries further prolonging harm on their bodies. But we praise them. So next time you decide to respond to someone’s statement about celebrating all bodies by putting down one type of body because it’s “abnormal” maybe consider what your comment is actually reflecting and what you’re really saying lol. Cause there’s lots of “abnormal” bodies out there. That doesn’t mean they need to change to fit your idea of normal.

@Billy McCatty Powell well I assumed you were younger because your comment was ignorant and I tend to attribute ignorance aka lack of knowledge to people who are younger and less experienced but you’re right I shouldn’t have assumed your age. At the end of the day health isn’t just “healthy” or “unhealthy”, it’s a spectrum. You could easily be an obese person who eats much healthier than someone who is at a “healthy” weight but still hold excess weight due to numerous health conditions, which is actually the case a lot of the time, or maybe you’re poor and suffer under conditions of food insecurity and can only afford unhealthy food or live in an area where there aren’t healthy options, which is also a common circumstance. Maybe you have a binge eating disorder that causes you to overeat. There’s sooo many reasons why peoples bodies look the way they do and because we, unfortunately, live in a society that ties our worth to our bodies, especially for women, it’s important to love our bodies no matter what they look like and accept all bodies. That’s all the first comment was trying to say but then you come out here with your “abnormal” bit. Like you’re missing the point. Let people exist and look how they look without having to make comments about it. If they want to change how they look they will and if they don’t then that’s not your problem.

For the two bottoms, the waist is the top opening that goes from your shoulder to under your arm; not around your ribs. Your ribs are supposed to fit through a leg hole. Either way, I don't think it works well.

It might be because I’m extremely small (5”) but I’ve found that panties are way more softer and comfortable then wearing boxers or briefs. If I can’t go commando I wear Pink or VS

This makes me glad I can sew. I sew very high coverage swimwear because I'm scared of jellyfish and leeches, but get rashes from chlorinated water. I've never wanted a bikini, and this made me want one even less... But the two bottoms as a top reminds me a lot of sewing a wrap dress, so that would probably be fun and easy to make for a beginner swimwear sewing project. Then it could be adjusted to account for shoulder width.

A really good bathing suit hack if any wants to know is swimming bottoms with a skirt attached 👌 preferably a cute ruffled skirt! The skirt will help hide the wedgies and if you're trans and worried about the tucking coming undone the skirt can help hide the bulge a bit as well
