I didn’t even know that was a thing. What is it supposed to be for? She only said it was so she could sleep peacefully....If it’s to block sound , why not use ear plugs or white noise? I love how my hair looks after I've slept in curlers overnight! I haven't tried these ones, but I have a set of foam rollers, and I've worn them overnight (with hairspray). I take them out in the morning and my hair is in ringlets that last for a few days! I love it! (Using hairspray or gel is the key to getting the curls to stay!)

My hair WAS naturally curly but bc of the length&weight it started to straighten. Now I just wash them and then wrap them around elastic headband (kinda like crown), go to sleep and voila! Perfect overnight curls! Just make sure your hair is damp (not dripping wet) and the hair are tight around headband. Next day you just shake them or comb them (for tighter/loose-y curls)

I have Maya’s hair type and these overnight curlers work, you just need to brush it out very well and wrap small sections at a time while keeping the hair flat against the curler. It takes forever to dry (sometimes more than 8hours) but it really does work.

You need to part your hair in large sections,one for each roll and start rolling up from the ends of the hair and strap it. Also sometimes you need more than one packet of rolls to cover all sections. The longer the hair the bigger the roll and viceversa.

Soft curlers from duane reade works wonders. Hairspray each strand and roll them up and then hairspray the collection of rollers. Use a blow dryer to dry each layer of hairspray, do it about 3 times. I use this process for shows and it definitely works! Sounds like a lot, but overall only takes 1-2 hours.

You can fabric curlers like theses but with wires inside so you wrap your hair around and then twist the ends of the curler like a twist tie and then sleep with them in. Though the ones I have are smaller so they do a tighter curl. If I'm going for more of a wave I wet my hair and twist it into a bun and sleep with it like that. You just have to make sure your hair isn't too wet or it won't be dry in the morning.

I had long, fine, thick hair very similar to Devins. I tried curling it with a curling iron, flat iron, braiding then flat ironing, sleeping in braids, sleeping in wet braids, and sleeping with curlers. NONE OF THEM WORKED. So I got a perm. Best $20 I’ve ever spent.

Okalani Wilson because curly haired girls can still use curling techniques to do a different type of girl. just like how straight haired people still straighten their hair when theres no need to. its just to get a new texture if i were to use these i’d know what to do and id wake up with loose curls instead of my typical tighter curls. she just didnt apply it correctly which is why it didnt come out good

Not necessarily. I have very curly hair and have tried products like this with success. This product was obviously not made for curly women but if you do it right (unlike in the video) you can achieve heatless curls.

It's frustrating because devon seems to be the only girl here who actually knows how to put your hair up in hair curlers properly but doesn't have the long hair to do it, and the girls with long hair don't know how. Chantel should try the hack where you put all your hair in a ponytail on top of your head and then use a curling iron to curl pieces, moving them from one side to the other until it's all curled. It's the easiest way to curl long hair

I have hair just like Devin's. The only way a curl with last is doing a wet set (i.e. towel dry) and heat until COMPLETELY dry. Going from wet to dry will hold the curl. Damp or dry hair has already been 'set' in the pattern. Source: 30 years of turning my fine, straight, limp hair into a crown of lush, springy curls.
