Ahhh so good to see you guys again! Great job on the spring cleaning so far. The vacuum will be your best friend 100%. For kids artwork...take a photo of it or scan it, keep it on a flash drive, and purge the physical copy. I love the art and creativity that kids are chock full of, but ya can't keep every single piece.

Y’all are out here adulting!🤣 I am 38 with 6 kids and I gotta tell you it literally took all the energy I had to get up and switch laundry 🧺 out 1:45am lol I got way behind my normal 2 loads a day rule for myself🤦🏻‍♀️ 😴 So you guys spring cleaning is motivating! 🎉 Also story: my husband got us a free couch 🛋 back when we were young and saving our pennies. So one day we moved that couch and there were hundreds if not thousands of feathers under it! It was a feather filled couch! Never again! 🤣🤣🤣

Try making a digital portfolio of your kids artwork and then have picture frame that showcases the pictures on a loop remember technology has come a long way and then if you ever really really like a picture that they made when they were real little you can always have a coffee cup I keep saying a wall art by taking it to a place like Walmart and uploading it to their system and you can choose from many different options including postcards this is also something you can do with pictures that you already have like maybe I graduation say they go off to college you can have a quilt made of some of your favorite pictures that they painted as kid along with photos of them growing up and it could be a time lapse of their growth versus their creativity I have a feeling I know who's really going to love these ideas LOL love you girlfriend

I recommend for kids artwork / school work (when that happens) creating either a bin or organize a filing box or cabinet to have both kids art pieces and they can decide from everything you save if they want to keep it when they are older :P at least that's what my mom did.

To keep our paintings and drawings my mom got a wide rectangular storage bin to put them in with our names on them. I recommend it since I still have mine.😂

I kept alot of it in scrapbooks they made in Kindergarten & Elementary. So, they are all documented & dated. Their teachers thought of that & I just added to it. 👍😊👏

I want to make scrapbooks and wall art with maybe mirrors and traditional stuff, out of my kids drawings ive been keeping it all in a book until I’m ready to build something creative with it all. I’ve also saved bins of sentimental items I want to throw into books as well, and maybe keep a locker of books for my kids. Idk how to it yet. Maybe pictures of items and a patch of whatever item and maybe sensory scrapbooks. ☺️☺️💝💝💝💝💝💝

With your kids painting you can take pictures of them and create a book with all their art and the recycle the originals or put them in the attic lol

A good tip for the kids pictures is to take pictures of them with your phone and then put into an album, or make a picture book online! It allowed you to save what they made but they won’t take up as much space :) you could make one book a year!

Yes! Excellent idea. We also have a folder for each child that holds the best of the best pieces. Keep in mind.. this is a folder you may want to keep until they are adults, so it really should only have the most favorites from each year. We also have a wall we hang up their favorites and then after a while we change it out and throw them away.

Take a picture of the artwork, cut a little portion of each one that he created, and then create a scrapbook. Glue in the picture that you took along with the little cut out. Throw away the big original. Then you guys will have a memory scrapbook of his art! 🫶🏾🙌🏾🥰

Matt you have to wear a dust/pollen mask when you are cleaning under the bed/sofa. When you vacuum outside empty the vacuum outside. No point in bringing that dust back in the house. Lastly for your HVAC system you need the Anti Pollen/Anti Dust Filter. They exspensive and you can’t let Glory get them or she will come back with the dollar store special😂.

So I may be super late when it comes to watching this video but I came across something called artkive and what they do is they send you a box and you put all of your child's art pieces in it and you can pick whether or not they send it back as a book, a canvas, and there was one other option. I have personally been thinking about doing it since I have a little as well who loves to be creative.

With kid's artwork, maybe consider taking a pic of them for keepsake before tossing the majority of them? I agree that they start to pile up and though the work is cute, it can start to clutter the house. Love the video, as usual.

For your kids artwork, take a picture and turn it into a book or get one of those picture frames where you can change out their artwork on a frequent basis. It gets used and you don’t feel bad for throwing it out. Realistically speaking kids won’t remember or even appreciate something when there’s such an abundance of things (if that makes sense).
