The broth has to be hotter so the beef can cook more lol I usually just pour the ingredients on a bowl. Pour in the hot broth and let it sit. Vietnamese food is yummy 😊 glad yall liked it

You are supposed to mix all the veggies with the vermacelli noodles and like Janice said, pour the sauce all over and mix it up. The combination of flavours of all the veggies and herbs and texture like from the bean spouts make the dish. :) You need to mircowave the broth so that that it is hot enough to cook the raw beef.

Pho is so so so good! Also if you love spicy then put the jalapeño and the red chili sauce in it! The red sauce goes a long way so be careful lol bc it’s super spicy if you put a lot.

I absolutely love Vietnamese food I work with someone who’s Vietnamese and at office parties he cooks a spread for us and everything you guys had he makes except the one with the raw beef cause he knows everyone doesn’t like that..I felt Isaiah I like my food with extra flavor such as putting sauces but drenching it turns me off as well it can’t be enjoyed with too much flavor odee..much love guys I peace

Go to the restaurant and order a bowl of pho. Broth should be piping hot. Then add lime, basil, bean sprouts, sriracha and a little hoisin. I think you’ll both enjoy it a lot more.

Not sure what your BF ordered, but it looks like a version of com tam, which most Westerners love. If you can find the version that comes with the pork whole, fried egg, egg/pork meatloaf, pickled veggies, etc., you'll be in heaven. The other one may be a version of bun thit nuong (but instead of grilled pork, it's chicken). You need to mix the noodles, meat, veggies, and fish sauce together to get the perfect bite. The pork one, you can pour the sauce over everything and eat it. In Vietnamese food, if it comes with a sauce, use it. You cannot eat the fresh spring rolls without the peanut sauce of it'd be bland.

Next time guys, heat the broth for a couple of minutes then put it in a big bowl. The meat will cook in the broth and it will be so tender! Also, the brown sauce is hoisin sauce, it's delicious!

Though I face-palm myself regarding the raw meat moment I still feel kinda proud that you don't shy away from it... You should've brought the broth up to boiling again and leave the meat in it when serving -but if the broth is that good and you don't shy away from red meat I have no problem at all with this. :) I went to Vietnam for 3 weeks last year and can say that I love the food soo much!

Y’all did the broth wrong 🤦🏽‍♀️ Put the ingredients into a medium sized bowl THEN add the broth. Pho 🍲 is amazing. The broth is supposed to be hot which heats everything up. The meat cooks in the broth. Use a spoon for the pho. I encourage you both to try pho again the traditional way.

So this spring roll is actually Summer roll and not spring rolls. it’s usually good for the summer, that’s the reason why it’s cold and called summer rolls. The broth is supposed to cook the meat. That’s why the broth needs to be really hot to cook the meat. Great video.
