Easy way to shuffle the tiles is to make a paper/card copy of each tile and number them. Shuffle and deal the paper copies, then each player swaps out the paper for the 3d versions.
@MuriKakari Жыл бұрын
Or just number the tiles and use a number picker or even a D100 to choose.
@christianstraubhaar339 Жыл бұрын
Or with another copy of the game, using those tiles for drawing from the bag as normal and, as you said, swapping for the corresponding 3d one.
@Stefan-xt5sk Жыл бұрын
@@MuriKakari the d100 would grow increasingly more annoying the longer you go on, because it doesn't filter out already taken numbers.
@Karloss00 Жыл бұрын
Wouldn't work. The original tiles are randomized and placed into four separate stacks. When it's a player's turn they take one tile from any stack and place it down where it can benefit them. The 3D tiles would both be an extra step in the game and also telegraph which tiles remain which can influence a player's decision-making.

Still think a 3d betrayal at the house on the hill would be really cool to see

There definitely has to be a way to randomize the tiles to make this playable. It's so cute!

Roll 2-3D6 with the parts arranged in a grid - the first one-two get you to the right column you can then count down it the remaining die, with any now empty space skipped and looping back to the start. Edit: Note I said D6 as those are die almost everyone should have a few of, use bigger die if its more convenient and you have them! (I can't remember how many tiles the game has, been a while but a D10 of column and D4 or D6 for the row if memory serves should be good...)

Fun fact, Carcassonne is a beautiful French medieval city ! As a French (having forgotten this board game) I was astonished at first when reading the title to see you mention the city 😂 then I understood ! Great job as always 💪✨

Carcassone is one of the biggest love of my boardgaming, it is basically what founded my fascination with the genre. The minis you have made are absolutely adorable, and although the result is likely unplayable (due to the difficulty of putting down the followers), I still really dig the aesthetics! Looking forward to the next game you decide on 3D-ifying!
@ClarissaMeyer Жыл бұрын
So cute! The only problem with playability here is the random drawing of your next tile to place. They have enough space to place your gamepieces. I've played this game sooo many times :D

Quick tips for resin casting with polyurethane 😊 1: Upside-down is your friend. Glue your piece to the surface you want to be the top, great golden rule. 2: for itty bitty bits like the tower tops or small 28mm parts, using a disposable pipette to put the resin in the mold can help both getting the resin in a small hole, and also add a greater force than gravity for pushing the material in/air bubbles out! 3: Robert Tolone on KZbin is a wonderful channel for anything/everything casting/mold making! Thanks for the exceptional content as always y'all! Very refreshing to see a more 'handcrafted' build without printing or lasers!

Carcassonne is similar to Dominoes - putting fitting tiles together. And blocking roads or cities with your meeples to get points. Who finally have bigger cities/roads/fields - get more points and wins. It's simple but fun game.

LOVE Carcassonne. It's a great strategy game with enough depth for big strategy nerds like me, but also simple and approachable enough that I can convince my wife and other non strategy nerds to play with me. Bonus: You can add/remove expansions which increase/decrease complexity depending on your audience. Basic Carcassonne is pretty freaking simple.

A neat project but personally I'd have kept the original tiles as is and made copies of them for the 3d tiles (photocopy and paste onto thick card or foamboard). Give each one a code / number which matches between the game tile and 3d tile so you can draw from the bag then take the relevant matching 3d tile.

I think it's namely because the priming is the only colour for the wood, and after having to do so many houses, the dots of the windows were a big half-assed because they had to do literal hundreds of them. Think it was more of fatigue rather than laziness.
