My lock came locked 😂 I'm going to have to try the hammer and see if I can get it unlocked. I love how much thought and care goes into theses boxes I've been getting them for a couple years. They're always so creative and there is always something unique in each one. My favorite things that come are the science demonstrations and books. :)

Tapping it with the hammer will open up the lock. I've been doing it just for the hell of it and blew the mind of my daughter by doing it. Never knew that was a thing and really did give me a better idea of how locks work.

Okay, so you got the diamonds but I got the gears and I don't know why I didn't get the diamonds

@@GraphicPolicy so I actually contacted the company and it turns out that they just had issues manufacturing enough of both the diamond hourglass and the gearbox which goes from something like 86 revolutions a minute to one revolution every like 1.3 million years (probably larger) and so they kind of did a half and half thing

Interesting. Good to know. So what was the gearbox? Like a clock? Sounds interesting.

@@GraphicPolicy basically each set of gear rotations meant something. Like one was the fastest heart beat in the world, amount of atoms in the universe, that sort of thing
