Really fun to read through. I personally got the physical version of the game because I thought it wouldn’t be in the game. Also kind of disappointed it’s a pamphlet and not an actual book. Btw at 53:52 it says 12:04:20:03. December 4th 2003 is the Japanese release date of Sonic Battle. Great video as always.

This book is like the Sonic Comic Encyclopedia from Archie. It adds things that feel like they just exist to get the fans talking. I made a video on a few sentences from the Archie Encyclopedia and got a whole theory connected that and some other Archie lore. 14:01 To me, Locke is canon to the games. Knuckles had to have had a father.

So Gerald said that the NIDS effect on Maria doesn't show up physically on her body but that sometimes she has good and bad days, and I guess that picture of her in the wheelchair was a bad day. So we see in Dark Beginnings and at the end of the Shadow Generations that she faints out of exhaustion because of the disease that takes a toll on her body even though it doesn't physically show. Also I don't think SEGA is comfortable showing a real interpretation of a terminally ill child.
