We Upgraded Alfa Romeo 4C With a £10,000+ Sound System - International Project

In this video, we show you how we upgraded and fixed the old sound system in this Alfa Romeo 4C. In the beginning it wasn't making any sound at all, but had a decent system in it. However the owner wanted to add even more power and decided to invest in a £10,000 Audison Thesis Venti amplifier. In the end it sounded just incredible - the clarity and power this system had was just perfect.

Awesome work and awesome stereo, question: The Thesis Venti Amp is rated at 200w x 2 @ 4 ohm, however the Violino Tweeters are 6 ohm, so I would suspect you are pumping less than 200w (maybe 180w?) Anyway, to anyone thinking about Thesis Speakers: They are totally awesome and worth every penny! I have the 3-way Thesis set-up in the front and another set of Thesis Violino's in the rear, running in a 2-way set-up with Focal Utopia (2-ohm) woofers in the rear doors...

How much weight was added? Since the 4C claim to fame is ultra lightweight. I know that soundproofing really helped, it's such a loud car.

Just how much better is the Thesis HV Venti than the Thesis TH due, especially when you factor in road noise? Once you get to a certain level of detail, any background noise would make it inaudible. I've always thought the only time it'd make sense to use a Thesis HV Venti would be in a Rolls-Royce Phantom or some other car that is dead silent, as any road noise would cancel out any benefit in sound quality you'd get from it. Also, if this guy was already dumping $15,000 USD on a Thesis HV Venti AND paid to have it shipped from the US to the UK, why didn't he spend an extra several thousand to upgrade the woofers to the Thesis TH 6.5's and the Voce 5.1k to the Thesis Quattro? Seems like a lot of effort to get it to you guys only to have you max out only half the system.

It is noticeably different. Yes, the car does make a difference but it is worth putting in any car. The woofers are from the Thesis line. Limited by space and airflow plus the 5.1k was already in the car

⁠​⁠@@CambridgeCarAudioOh now I see it’s the old Thesis woofer (the new one has a silver cone). Aren’t the Voce and Thesis amps the same size? Or is more the Thesis Quattro would get too hot (which I have heard they do)? Also just how much better would a Thesis Quattro sound compared to the Voce?
