I know thing about wasps if you’re having trouble approaching a nest and getting set up if you hold your breath you’re invisible to them as long as you don’t breathe out and aren’t emitting any carbon dioxide they can’t see you

In the future, if you have to clear out wasps/hornets, and don't have a taker for the nest, most chickens will eat the brood out of a cleared wasp nest. 👍Keep being awesome!

The Hornet King KZbin channel whom I watch regularly answers questions for the viewer. He does hornet nest removal as a living. He has a farm too. He takes the nests home refrigerates them overnight, then cleans them to make sure all the hornets are gone and feeds the larvae to his chickens and a pet squirrel. I watched him remove nests from underground, hanging from trees, inside trees, in ceilings, walls, siding, windows etc. Sometimes he will keep them transplanting them to his farm to see how they grow there nests. I never knew how many types of hornets there are. Please be careful, some types are nastier then others.

Those are bald-faced hornets. It's too bad they can be so aggressive and their stings hurt like heck because they are awesome predators. They eat a ton of caterpillars, aphids, and other garden insect pests. But once you get stung by a couple of them, you don't care anymore about their beneficial properties! Sometimes the juice ain't worth the squeeze LOL!

The wasps are enormous. And hornets!! It is my understanding, that wasps and hornets can sting over and over and over; unlike bees that are unfortunately kamikazi stingers. So yes, that was scary to me as well, but your suits were great. I love your innovations. I follow others that are proud of their brand new expensive big giant gasoline generators, and you just keep finding these amazing solar equipment. Its impressive. I would tell my other channels about your stuff but I find most people appear to be annoyed by those sort of comments. I wish I could do a blanket recommendation to the others. One guy has to have the City Light Company come out and run lines for lights to his out-buildings and for lights for all his hobby/pet animals (not-for-eating or milking: Longhorns and Ostriches and Goats) at night. I want to tell him there is a much better and more economical way, but he is one who is enraged by suggestions. He thinks people are insulting him. Lucky for him he has many more redeeming qualities. rofl Yall have a great weekend. P.S. The Honey Harvest Hut is a great idea. Screens on the windows.

Yeah, they can sting repeatedly, this year was black wasps on the front of my trailer, normally its the yellow jackets on the trailer. But yeah, they'll actually intentionally go after you too. My kid recieved 3 different stings on his hand from one yellow jacket. Theres also a bumble bee nest under my shed but those guys usually don't bother anybody so its only the wasps that usually gets sprayed and the nest knocked down to avoid my own kids and the neighborhoods kids from getting stung.

Allways remember, the best time to deal with wasps is early in the morning when they are at their least active. As the temperature increase, they become more active because they are "cold blooded". Also their activity depend to some extend on the amount of light. One can easily take out a nest before sunrise, without hardly any one of them moving. Because wasps don't have a queen, any members that escaped, will return and rebuild the nest. With hornets, destroying the nest will mean the end of the swarm, but it's still less risky to get rid of them when they are less active since some of them may just deside to attack humans an animals in the vicinity. It's very important to "evacuate" a large area to avoid eany risks. "Clever" fools has stepped many times in that disaster because they didn't think proactively.

I am a beekeeper in Bulgaria, Europe and honey sold directly to the customer costs 5-6$ per 2.2 pounds( 1kg ) jar full of pure honey , however we sell big quantities to merchants who pay us around 2.70$ per 2.2pounds( 1kg) of honey and the price stays the same and merchants make good money whereas beekeepers struggle to make a living which is almost impossible and many beekeepers work 2 jobs to feed their families. Sounds good, right? Anyways, I wish you all the best, you seem good-hearted and loving person . Keep going🙂

In the market you won't be able to sell all of your honey , you can sell small quantities but it is impossible to sell a 5-10 thousand 1kg jars. People don't buy much honey and there are people selling honey for very low prices and they have many customers because very few people want quality , most want cheap price and that is why you wouldn't be able to sell it even if you go to the market for months every day
